I think it depends on what she finds romantic. You may want to ask her what she enjoys and plan around that or surprise her! There are many nice restaurants, relaxing boat rides or the horse drawn carriage. She has to be on the same page as you! - Jalex239

I love the dining Plan. It works for us we go in sept and get it free.. That's probably why it works for us... Lol
We don't like the dining plan, it's more expensive for us than paying cash. For breakfast we bring cereal and buy milk there, I also bring snacks, sometimes we share a quick service meal because the portions are very large. Dvc members and Disney visa card holders get 10% off at select restaurants also. We still enjoy a table service meal for dinner most nights. I also found out last trip that the heat makes me not as hungry. I enjoy the freedom of getting the food/snacks I want without having to make sure it's part of the dining plan. I also bring a filtered water bottle to the parks. - Andrea84

Since summer is peak season for them,i dont think they will offer it then. Do the deluxe dining plan, you will be able to do a lot of character meals and eat at a majority of the sit downs. You can eat at the higher end ones too, but then you have to use two meals power person. - WildForWalt

I've gotten the free dining the last two times we went in August. Not sure about July.....I like it because I feel its just easier and cheaper because we do many sit down dinners. And you don't have to worry about bringing extra money for food. - disneychk

Every trip I always get the DP. I always pay out of pocket. I do the math each time whenever I plan a trip and plan which restaurants I want to go to and see how much that meal will cost me, I always end up saving money with the DP. I love the fact you do get a dessert every meal but I am at Disney where dreams come true and I love the fact that I don't have to budget for food. I just enjoyπ. My advice to you is fIgure which restaurants you want to eat at, figure what you will spend and see if the DP works or not (remember to figure in desserts.)β¨β¨β¨ - majickingdom79

I use bobby pins just because I can't stand having the strap around my chin. Then I just make sure to keep my hand on my ears during any rides because I don't like having to repin it. I think they would probably stay even if I didn't hold onto them though I'm just paranoid ;) - Huskerkelsey

We save money paying as we go. The dining plan has way more food than we can eat. For example: one kids meal is plenty of food for both of my girls and we would never have dessert at every meal, just one or two meals throughout our entire visit. If we ate all that the dining plan serves, then it would save us. - DizneyGirl
