Ohana has a really fun character breakfast. The food is good & the characters are fun(Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, Stitch). The food is served family style.
We enjoy it , a buffet is a buffet but still was a fun time , and lets be honest we all have seen kids and adults do gross things at disney lol, and that's just the things we have seen , I won't even touch the rails :) - tracsant

We eat breakfast there almost every trip. We love it!! I've never seen anything gross. The food is good but we mostly go for the characters. We do the Dp, idk if we would still go if it was out of pocket. - Schramke

I still haven't canceled I am going to wait until we get there.....maybe he will change his mind. Although as of right now he thinks I should cancel. Its such a tough decision for me since my son desperately wants to do it. I am almost to the point of taking my son by myself and since little miss is 1 she won't know what she missed. That way he can still have the experience. - ccmom

I say bring a stroller. I don't think six is too old, I brought a stroller on our trips until my daughter said she didn't want it anymore. I do remember bringing one when she was six & she was happy to use it when her legs got tired.
I think for a 9 day trip, a stroller would be fine. I would rather push my kid around than hear them complain to much. - MindyCowgirl

My gut says to bring it, but everyone around me is giving me a hard time. Then again, the people giving me a hard time don't know how it is to do WDW. YES!! We used Disney's double stroller for our 5 and 9 yo in Nov/Dec, and our regular stroller for our 5 yo (then 4) in Oct 2011. And, we're bringing our double stroller for our 5 (will be 6) and 18mon (will be 2) in June. You will NOT regret it, I promise you!! Everyone will be happier and will be able to last longer because of it!! - mrsincredible

We have stayed at riverside twice, it's a beautiful resort. Haven't stayed at French quarter yet, but pretty sure that will be where we stay our next trip because of all the great reviews on MW

I always book through Disney, usually check prices & packages on their website & then I call to book to be sure I didn't overlook anything, the agents are very helpful
I used AAA, but you can book directly through Disney as well.

You know what is best for your family. We have been considering dvc for a couple of years but is doesn't make sense for us for the same reasons. Your up coming trip sounds great & you will have many more after that!!
