On my daughter's 6th birthday we ate at the crystal palace (her favorite) the cast members made it very special, gave her a cupcake with a candle & sang happy birthday. I just let them know we were celebrating her birthday. You could also order a cake in advance & have them serve it.

For my daughters 10 birthday we let them know when we made dining reservations . They made it very special for her !!!! I think you can even order a cake . But that was back in 2000 . - skcanfield  386.7 #8 11:24AM
Just put it in your dining reservations. I did that for ours, and they brought out something for the b-day person at our dining. You could also call dining and ask about a cake being delivered to the table. - Lelundrial  345.0 #437 12:06PM
Are you certain that it is all booked up? The Dessert party ressies don't open until roughly 60-65 days out. They just may not be open yet. Also they only do it on certain nights, not every night. I would keep checking. I think you will be able to get it. - poohbr1205  14.3 #157 10:41AM
