I've been there a few times for Christmas we used to go every year on Christmas the crowds aren't too terrible it is definitely busy though but with all the lights and things to see its worth walking between a few extra people. I've never seen it hit capacity at those times I was there. So not as bad as spring break
They reach capacity at Christmas on most days, very crowded. May even be worse or just as crowded as Spring Break. - mrsincredible

We went last year for the first time during the Christmas holidays and it was not bad. We only had one day when it was crowded. It is still the prettiest time to go. If u are not in the Christmas spirit when u are there something is wrong. - tdarden

In my opinion I think typhoon lagoon would be better for the little ones I know blizzard beach is a lot of water slides and TL has wave pools and a lazy river. Both are excellent water parks though
Both of the parks are really nice and both have kiddie areas and a lazy river. We go to atleast one every trip. It is a nice relaxing day and usually try and put it in the middle if the trip so it is a break in the week. Have a fun time - mmddgp

TL has more shade and not so many stairs. There are parts of BB that get really hot and all those stairs can be hard with small ones. My kids loved TL when they were smaller, BB when they got older. They still like TL best tho. - Eraf61
