Retro Friday picture from my 1st trip in April of 1997. Loved the insanity of what they did to the castle.
Happy Valentines Day to my MW family!
@Dizneygirl, thank you for our surprise RAK. The kids love the maps and Aaron is loving the die cut Mickey's.
My New's Year's resolution was to get rid of boxes in the basement, 4 per month is the goal. Today I found our original planning video from our first Disney trip. This is from 1997, we were there for the 25th anniversary, it also was my 25th birthday. That is when the Disney obsession began.
I framed and hung the boys charactures from Disney today. They have the main wall in my living room.
I have been sucked in, and am loving it! I just finished book #2 that Joshua brought home from the school library. As a special treat I just ordered #1 - #4 for Joshua to have his own copies. I can not wait to get my hands on the next one.
As mentioned yesterday, this is my good luck Mickey coin I let Joshua borrow. It helped bring him a score of 100 % on his baritone solo at All County
Looks like this hockey loving family is going to at least have half a season. So excited the lockout has been lifted.
This morning we are headed off for Joshua's first All County Solo competition. I am letting him borrow my Disney Mickey Good Luck coin, hoping he makes it through his solo and does a great job.
Happy New Years! Hopefully 2013 brings everyone's dreams true.
Joshua was reading his library book from school this Christmas break when I realized what he was reading my thoughts were, 'I must he raising thia Disney lover the right way.'
Looks like here on Grand Island we will be waking up to a brand new foot of snow in the morning. Hoping to hear the sound of plows on the road, but as of now it is just peaceful and beautiful to look at.
Just watched Brave with the family, what a wonderful movie.
Watching the Disney parade and tearing up thinking we were there and saw it live. Love, love, loving it!
Merry Christmas Eve from our family to yours!
One the best things we did before our trip to Disney was preorder a stroller from Orlando Stroller Co. They delivered it right to Wilderness Lodge and picked it up at the end of the vacation. Aaron loved it, it was easy to fold and transport, and came in handy when we had a tired prince at the end of the day. We folded our sweatshirts and kept them stored underneath, just in case. Such a great stress reliever, I would recommend to anyone with children that need a stroller, 100% better than our experience with in the park strollers.
Getting all ready to snuggle up and enjoy Cinderella tonight on the Disney Channel. One of my favorites and not easily watched with a household of boys.
Tink, Tink, Tink & Otilgena I was able to get your winning RAK out in the mail yesterday morning before my car wouldn't start at the post office. Please keep your eyes out for them. :)
One of the funniest events of this trip was our last day when we found out we had 15 snack credits left and the look on Joshua's face as he rushed around the gift shop at our hotel grabbing all the Goofy candy he could hold. It was hilarious! And yes we have 10 bags of Goofy candy and 3 special disney cookies and 1 holiday rice crispy.
My dishes from our vacation. 4 regular popcorn buckets, 4 resort mugs, 2 beer mugs from epcot, 1 mug from HS, 2 mugs from Gastons, 1 regular cup, and 2 Mickey popcorn buckets not shown.
