Hey guys I was able to get a room at theCoronado Springs at the last minute! Should I go for the preferred room which is the room that's closer to the main building or am i ok with the regular king room?
We like the preferred room cuz it's close to the main building, we get te refillable mug and its nice to be close for all the refills. Plus you are usually by the water which is nice too - TinkTinkTink

Answer to ressies: We are most likely only getting one day in Magic Kingdom but I do not know which, so in light of that no ressies =(...yet..;) So wanted back up plan of must haves! One Saturday it's 9am - 11pm!!!!! So I can eat A LOT! heehee that's why I need he "fuel" experts and favs, I don't want to miss a thing. We are going to Epcot so I can have food and wine fest, turkey leg etc. but I know MK has so much and I want all of ya'll's favs, I trust you guys sooo much more than anything else!! - justra23

We have it and love it!! It saves you 20 percent off your meal including alchohol it also does add gratuity so the way we see it is that it basically saves you the tip - jkigos

Hey all, do the value resorts serve adult beverages or have a lounge? I know these are geared more towards family, but we would like to have some grown up drinks at the pool or around the hotel.
When we stayed at All Star Sports, there was a pool bar close to the food court where you could get adult beverages. No lounge. I'm assuming the other value resorts are similar but not for sure. - disneycm

Yes they do!!! Sell beer in food court and they have an outside bar bu the pool that sell other drinks also. - mmddgp

What is your fav resort/hotel when you go to Disney? When we were little my dad took us to Royal Plaza (lake buena vista) which is still there surprisingly lol and i will be staying there in oct. For years now we have stayed at dolphin for price and location (usually anywhere from 130-200). There are many factors to a resort/hotel (price, location, availability, amenities, staff/treatment, etc.) Does not have to be a Disney resort, just a hotel you stayed in while visiting Disney that's your fav and what makes it that.
My b/f just told me we could stay at beach club for one night in sept before my bday trip. I'm doing backflips cuz I have never been to a true disney resort. Thats why i asked this q, also are there any tips, tricks, things i should know about beach club? - justra23

When we visit wdw we stay at the dolphin as well...I would love to stay at the other resorts, but with airfare it would be crazy price for the 17 days there...I'm happy with the dolphin resort! Good thing they also have the magic hours... - islandgirl58

We've stayed at Carribean beach & the Poly. Both were great in their own ways, but the Poly is my favorite! It has such a great relaxing vibe, awesome restaurants, and such convenience with the monorail! - brhimler

Receintly the past few years we have only stayed at pops love the grounds pools and bussing. We have stayed at all valu and pops is our favorite. The grand kids like the sports also. We have only stayed at port Orleans, CB, AK when we can get a deal on the room but it has been awhile. Love AKL because of the grounds, animals, story time @ campfire Would love to stay there with the grand kids but really can't do two rooms there - mmddgp

what is everyones favorite thing about Disney? i have a ton but my absolute favorite is how everyone there is equal- no color, race, age, language - no barriers, everyone is there for the same reason and i always feel at home and like everything in the world is right when i'm there. what about you?

Good Morning MW! 97 days :) I need some advice! We usually stay at the WDW Dolphin for the location but they are booked up. If you were going to pay around that rate ($160/night) or a little higher, which would be the hotel you would splurge on?
I would check Wilderness Lodge , for that time of year I think their rates are similar . - skcanfield

Port Orleans riverside is a great deal, we've gone to WDW 6 times as stayed there everytime. Great atmosphere and good prices. - ariel116

Ok need some help please with hotels.. .normally stay at wdw dolphin but they are booked, we have a budget, if we have fl res and annual pass disc....and we want to splurge what is best "cheaper" splurge you can think of in wdw, otherwise what recommendations for lake buena vista dr or outside disney? I went to a mod resort for the first time this past dec and it was great. I norm stay at the poly but we stayed at French Qrt and loved it. Up dated clean and for myself I was 6 mos prego, 2 younger kids and a hubby with broken leg it was perfect size for us to get around. I would stay there again. Oh food court was good and had a few very yummy things. - cheekymouse
