I know a few of you have been to Disney over Labor Day weekend..so what did you think? Can't decide if I want to go then or a couple weeks later and try again to go to MNSSHP..but have to say in Sept..I'm a lil afraid of MNSSHP getting rain and then all the good stuff will be cancelled! What to do???
I'm glad you asked this. Looks like that will be the week we will be there also with my grandkids. It is our only window of opportunity for them all to go, so we will see how that goes. We normally go 3rd week in sept and love it! - mmddgp

The Grand great pools..but Beach is really nice too..pools are better but for one night I would do the Grand you can see fireworks the castle while u swim the service is amazing - disneygirl74

My faves (all breakfast) are Tusker House, Akershus, CRT, and Chef Mickey's. We enjoyed Cape May (breakfast) and Garden Grill (dinner) too. I agree, Park Fare (dinner) is great for the characters, but none of us liked the food. (There were 5 of us and we all had trouble finding food we liked at the buffet.) - BagGal

Please tell me why you love Disney during the holidays?
Disney is just a lot more special during the holidays. The season just brings out the best in people. Everyone seems happier, more patient, more helpful. I had several interactions with guests and CMs today that were really nice. The decorations are so beautiful. One thing I really love about DL at this time of year is the Christmas music they play in every land that is themed to the land. On Main St it's traditional. In New Orleans Sq it has a jazz flare. In Frontierland it's guitars and banjos playing Carols. - jacdanfan

My husband always says," all I want for Christmas is you" so one year I went to one of those photo glam place, they did my hair and make up and picked some outfits and they snapped away. Every Christmas Eve we get together with my dad, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins. My grandma makes dinner and we exchange gifts. Then at midnight my hubby and I sit around our tree and exchange. On Christmas Day we go to my moms house and she makes dinner and we exchange. I look forward to that dinner the most because that side of my family their is only my mom left. So our dinner consists of family recipes that have been passed on from my great great grandparents. - Schramke

They both have cute areas for the smaller ones blizzard beach has an area that would be fun for 7 year old and maybe the 5 year old( my 5 yr olds did it) with the floating ice and the ropes. Their wave pools are different also. At blizzard there are tubes you can use in there( wave pool). They are both fun though - mmddgp
