So, just wondering for Wishes viewing (this Saturday and upcoming Wednesday) what time do I need to get my spot at and is the Hub the best viewing area? What about for illuminations (seeing it this Monday) thanks!!! You all rock!
I LOVVVE the watch illuminations on the steps on the bridge to france- to diiiiee for!! - Boardwalkgirl  55.2 #88 2:56PM
Thanks boardwalkgirl! What time should I get there at? Any ideas for wishes? - lifeguardette  117.6 #3079 4:23PM
For a good spot 30 min I say. - 5disneylovers  861.4 #4 4:50PM
Thank you for the suggestions!! Indy, how early would I need to be at the wishes spot? Do you agree about 45-60 minutes early? Thanks! Also is this is same for the MVMCP fireworks? - lifeguardette  117.6 #3079 11:56PM
30 minutes at the most really. Unless you're doing some photography work like I do, then 2 hours early (in the hub area). At the TTC I've done about 20-30 minutes early and been fine. Very merry is tough because a lot of people line up at 7 for the parade and right after that is the fireworks. - IndyandMarion  1238.1 #1 5:09AM

Hey all, so my family is attending the MVMCP and I am wondering if the parade would be the same parade that we saw in Disneyland two years ago during the holiday season. If its the same then we may not bother with the parade. Thanks!
No. Totally different. - IndyandMarion  1238.1 #1 2:27PM

Okay, so if you all had to pick your favorite snack for a wdw first timer (me and my family), what should I have and where can I get it??thanks!
Chocolate mousse at flame tree bbq, animal kingdom (i consider some desserts as snack!) - otilegna  1790.9 #69 6:40AM
That chocolate mousse is so good! There was also a mango cupcake with our lunch at be our guest. Wish I could remember the name...it was incredible! - singleprincess  68.5 #3870 11:41AM
It was the tropical fruit cream puff! So good! - singleprincess  68.5 #3870 11:54AM

My vote is dole whip too. Tiki room at DL or Aloha Isle at MK. - azcupcake  59.4 #4070 6:01PM
Now, I hear that there is not only a pineapple dole whip but a different flavor. Is this correct? - lifeguardette  117.6 #3079 6:05PM
At MK you can get orange or vanilla also. I like pineapple and orange swirled. - Andrea84  638.1 #7 6:16PM
There is an orange on as well. - kayxobelle  208.2 #35 6:18PM

Hey all, in November we land at MCO on Saturday nov. 16 at 6:08 am. How long do you think it will take us from the time we land to arrive at POR using DME? Thanks? Will we be able to be at DHS for 8am EMH? Thanks!!
I've never been to POR but when we go from MCO to Pop it takes about 45mins. - Schramke  415.3 #17 11:45PM
Is that pure driving time or is that waiting in line at the counter and waiting for the bus to leave the airport too? - lifeguardette  117.6 #3079 12:04AM
That's driving time. We never had to wait we just walked right in the bus. - Schramke  415.3 #17 12:29AM
We stayed there last trip and it was right around 1 hour. It was the 3rd stop I believe - girlonfire  53.3 #91 4:47AM
You could probably make it depending on how long you have to wait for the bus to the park. - rlpologal89  9.6 #241 5:42AM

Hey all, quick question. So, I find that I get a bit motion sick on Star Tours and that was before the 3D. Will I get sick on Mission Pdace green? Or should I just stay away from it altogether? Thanks!
Anybody have this problem..bump! - justGoofin  128.8 #55 3:41AM
I get a little dizzy on Star Tours and I can't handle either Mission Space. I am also claustrophobic which may contribute to it. - Disneyaddict  352.6 #579 4:06AM
I get motion sickness pretty easily and I rode it for the first time last month and it wasn't too bad. The front rows are better than the back because you move a lot more in the back. Maybe save it for your lady ride of the day that way if you don't do well you can go back to the hotel. - Andrea84  638.1 #7 6:49AM
That was Star Tours above (mid read your question). I tried Mission Space green also and it wasn't too bad. I would say MS is easier to ride then ST. - Andrea84  638.1 #7 6:52AM

I think all the parks have enough lockers to accommodate everyone. You should be okay. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  871.7 #3 4:52PM

Hey all, so we need to worry about bugs in WDW in November, I heard there are Mosquitos, palmettos, and love bugs??? I'm not used to bugs, I'm from Canada, we don't have many annoying bugs here on the West Coast. Thanks!!
I think you'll be fine in Nov. Love bugs are out right now and usually April/May. You can always bring bug spray just in case! - Andrea84  638.1 #7 3:44AM
Love bugs are out in Sept too. Yuk! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  871.7 #3 4:56AM
We always go in oct and usually stay at fort wilderness and we never had any trouble. About the only bugs we had problems with were bees - mikesbabygirl711  11.5 #211 3:47AM
Disney has ways of controlling the bug population; they talk about that on a tour we took :) - MsMode  27.3 #127 10:55AM

Hey all, I'm trying to do the online check-in (54 days yippe) and I get to the last page and it says sorry there was an error please try again. I have tried many times and can't seem to check in, any ideas?
When this happened to me, I was told it was bc the trip wasn't paid in full. Once it was paid I was able to complete it. - jm92593  1.7 #3086 5:46PM

Hi all, quick question. Since our family will be arriving very early in the morning (6:15am) and are staying onsite. We plan to go to the hotel first to give them our bags and stuff and then hit the parks. Will we be allowed to hit up EMH, even though we won't have a room key yet? Thanks!
You will need to check in at the hotel first. You can check in and then they will text or call once your room is ready. If you don't use magical express to deliver your bags you can check them at bell services and they will bring them to your room when you call down for them. - girlonfire  53.3 #91 3:51AM
On our trip we checked in and they have us our key to the world cards so we could get in the parks and use our ddp. Then gave us a number to call around 12 so they could tell us what room we were in. Worked out great. - Schramke  415.3 #17 4:27AM
They should give you the keys when you check in, even though your room is not ready. It usually acts as everything. Park ticket, room key, etc. so they can just activate the room once it's ready! - mickiesgirl66  8.5 #259 6:22AM

Quick question, our family will arrive at MCO at 6:15am in the morning. Can we go to the hotel and check in (I know our room won't be ready for hours) and have them store out bags?? Thanks!
If you are riding in the magical express bus, they take your bags for you and take them to your room... So I would say that you go to the hotel and check in nd then head straight to the parks! Then when you go back your bags will be waiting for you - brodysmommy  335.7 #625 11:12AM
That's what u was going to say too! Have a wonderful time. Where you heading first? - mmddgp  423.8 #16 11:23AM
Where are you staying? In my experience, most hotels (for sure all Disney hotels) will hold your luggage until your room is ready. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  871.7 #3 10:36AM
Like CDKG said, most hotel will hold on to your luggage - otilegna  1790.9 #69 11:11AM
We arrived on the redeye in January too and amazingly out room was ready at Pop Century. So we took a nap till 8:00 and then we t to the parks :) - mzdisnee  452.7 #13 3:47PM
Every time we've been except for one our room was ready when we got there (I always indicate our time when I do online check in). They will hold your bags though for check in and check out. - leveretttltl  35.2 #114 4:01PM

Well, we are taking a red eye flight from Seattle on November 15, so arrive on the 16 and leave in the evening on Nov. 23. We are all adults, a family of 4. My brother and dad and I am surprising my mom with this trip as she turns 65 this year, so it's our present to her. We have POR booked. My mom will especially love seeing the Main Street electrical parade, as that was her favorite in DL. Thanks for the warm welcome! - lifeguardette  117.6 #3079 12:57AM

For quick service, Seasons at Epcot. Lots of choices and its good food. - mkigos  44.7 #99 4:40PM
