To the DVC members and any one that has purchased points from members? Is that allowed and is it worth doing?
Friends of ours are members and we are going using his points. He called and made the reservation for us and gave them are credit card info for the dinning plan. The downside is dvc members can not get the free dinning when they offer it. Also we had to purchase tickets seprately and have them mailed to the house. Hope this helps a little - Ariel42

I have a Florida id and due get discounts with that but didn't know if becoming a DVC member would be worth doing. We due plan to move to Florida with in a year and we would be really close to the parks. I don't know any one that is DVC and knew everyone here is very helpful. Thanks. - cheekymouse

Has any one stayed at bay lake tower? How was it and how far is the monorail? We are looking into a few hotels, any feed back is helpful. So I love the poly that is one the bay lake tower, and any advice. I am prego so I pop back to the room when I need a rest and we have a 5 and 1 1/2 yr old girls. So I don't mind the boats but the busses can be a little much for me when I am prego. But willing to suffer for kids.
BLT is connected to the Contemporary A-Frame by a walkway. It is also I short walk to MK, which is faster than monorail but may be uncomfortable for you. It is the first stop on the Resort monorail. To get to Epcot: monorail to TTC, monorail to Epcot. DHS: monorail to TTC, bus To DHs, or monorail to Epcot, walk thru to international gateway, boat to DHs (only works with park hopper)or bus from ur hotel. AK: bus. Good luck, have fun! - C-Ticket

I am staying at blt in oct, it is our second stay there.we mostly love it bc of easy access. It doesn't have the disney feel like the rest but super new. I have dd7,dd4, ds2, and pregnant so I think it's an awesome choice - Disneygal727

We stayed in a 2 br villa at blt in January and loved it. Spacious rooms, nice having a kitchen (ESP if you have a car and can pick up breakfast foods, chilled snacks, etc). And the beds were really comfy - important when you're pregnant! - blanders76

Thanks Sueboo, I think just having the hotel close to you takes a lot of stress of a tired family. I guess that's why I always go to the poly, but the dates we are staying are just a few $ more to stay a BLT and I was wondering maybe we should try something new. Then I was thinking maybe the CBR it is way less but would that be worth the stress of getting around to the parks. Don't get me wrong the busses are wonderful but when you want to get to your room ASAP, i love the rail. Thank you for all the ideas guys! - cheekymouse

So my hubby said you know we live closer to Disney Land why don't you look into staying there for our trip! He then took a step back and said your right World it is! I think my pregnancy hormones must have changed his tune. I love all things Disney but I just don't feel like land is truly the happiest place on earth. WDW just really seems magical to me.

It would of saved us 35$ on each plane ticket that's it. I had to look into for the heck of it. I have been to Disney land and it was fun and great but at WDW it's so big you just feel like you are in another world! I forget and get lost in the Disney. - cheekymouse
