The tours, spend a few nights in the castle, have tables reserved wherever I wanted to eat, the rides with photos would just have me and my family on and one of my best ever days in WDW when my kids were smallinvolved canoeing down the river in FW, collecting pine cones and a horse ride - I would do that again and most of all for one night only I would love to take Tinks place on the wire! - rink2  9.9 #200 7:25AM

We have only done two surprise trips. The first was for the oldest, he requested some alone time with nana and papa so we picked him up for dinner and took a drive. When we arrived at the air port he asked what are we doing here ? We told him we were going to have dinner and watch the airplanes take off. We parked the car and popped the trunk and he looked confused when he saw our luggage and again asked why? We said we are going to Disney! How , I have no clothes? Then we pulled out his duffle which had a new wardrobe in it just for Disney! He was so excited! It was a great trip! The second one was an extended trip to SC. We stayed the weekend there for a birthday party and was "heading home" after we stopped for breakfast. It was my older daughter and her daughter, and the two youngest grandsons. On the road we are heading to Disney and we are probably about 3 hours away and they are asking are we almost home? I told them it was goin to be a little bit just relax, take a nap and when you wake up we will almost be home. Well they did, and it was perfect, they woke up just before crossing under the welcome home sign! Screems of joy and clapping filled the van, it was amazing!!! Lately though I just surprise them with meal experiences like the luau and lunch with jake and friends which in their words were " that was the best dinner ever ". Sorry for being long winded. The first year we went we all planned it together for several months, the next time they knew we were going just not when. THis time has been a complete secret and we are not telling them until the night before our flight. It's early in the morning or we would have waited until we arrived at teh airport. I sent them an email because when I called I got transferred and that is when I hung up. I am not joking with anyone, I don't like making phone calls. This was the response I got : "Magical Extras are sent out about 30 days prior to your arrival. This would include some vouchers for savings on property at Walt Disney World and your complimentary luggage tags. " I don't know why they sent the stickers so early.
