Summer is way to long for my liking.

It's funny to hear you say that!! I would LOVE to have actual seasons!! Lol we still have summer weather usually until the end of Oct!! :( I've seen pictures of beautiful fall leaves and we laugh at the "back to school" sweaters and jeans the stores put out!...I sound like Olaf in reverse..."In WINTER.." Lol - brittandkell  354.7 #564 2:33AM
Oh don't get me wrong, I love the seasons! Everything has just been so extreme in the last few years. Winter was Freezing, a lot of snow and ice and summer was cooler than usual, which I love but it was so wet I love when the trees change color and love walking in the fallen leaves just not in my yard! Lol. We have so many trees! - mmddgp  389.0 #17 2:46AM
I'm missing all the color changing leaves :( guess I better go home cause that is seriously the most beautiful thing. I love watching te change and driving around. So beautiful. I hate raking them though - dapserhouse  22.4 #144 6:38AM

I miss the one that was in Tacoma. It was better than the one in Tukwila. It was closer to me, too. But I still like to go to get a Disney fix. A fun hint for those who may not know, if you're at the store when they first open, your kids (or the young at heart) have a chance to open the store with the help of Tinker Bell, and you get to keep a special souvenir Disney key. ;) - PixieDust76  77.4 #71 12:17PM

The biggest pro for us was no wait for any of the rides. I didn't bother with the two dance areas. I also don't care for parades so didn't watch that. I didn't see any special characters out when we were there. I was only irritated finding out that the special pins were being sold in only one store. That was the only line we were in the whole time.
I don't know the answer, this will be our first time with the Christmas party.  In theory, the crowds should be smaller than a regular day.  There are multiple cookie and cocoa stations, all you can choke down.  Christmas parade and fireworks, rare character meet and greets (Like the seven dwarfs), and the Christmas vibe is turned up.  There are a handful of youtube videos on the party  itself, and a bunch on the fireworks and parade and castle stage show. - GoofyMom77  471.0 #387 10:39AM
Thanks! - DizneyGirl  569.8 #8 11:45AM

I rented my summer semester book and thankfully that only cost me $25. The school book was going to be like $160. I had to purchase what I thought was a book for one of my fall classes. Only thing that was listed had to buy new from the school. $177 for an access code to an ebook. I rented my other book which came up to $107.

I am not sure of such a list. Let me know if you find one. - 5disneylovers  839.2 #3 1:26PM
I'm pretty sure tho that space, splash, and thunder all have single rider options....I've gone on many times by myself and it's never been an issue. U just tell them one person and you're good to go...that's odd that they're not listed...almost every ride there is accommodating toward ppl who want to ride by themselves....unless they changed something idk about? Lol - mickeynme  151.9 #50 11:04AM
Single Rider is different from riding solo. There are a few rides that offer single riders a special pass that puts them in a desperate (and much shorter) line so they can be used to fill in the empty seats left by larger parties. Any ride will let you ride solo, but only a few let you skip the standby line to do it. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  829.7 #4 11:19AM
*separate* not (necessarily) desperate, LOL! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  829.7 #4 11:20AM

Yep, 2 -4 is better using mears more than that cab - mmddgp  389.0 #17 8:59AM
We have done it a couple of ways. When it is just me and Ed we get mears. Front desk can either make call for you or give you the number. Need to call day before and choose your time( we usually pick @ 815am) the cost is 20. Pp RT. we get a slip with phone #and call two hours before we are ready to get piced up or you can schedule a time. They drop you off in the cab loading area very close to the enterance. If you have more than 4 people in is more cost effective to do the cab. It works the same way as mears and the company we use for the 8 of us is 80. Rt. each way is just the same we have not had any issues ! - mmddgp  389.0 #17 7:21AM
Okay great! Thanks so much guys! I'm definitely gunna look into mears. Seems like it will be the most affordable choice. - AB1288  14.0 #186 7:35PM

mmddgp we will be there sept. 14-24 - AB1288  14.0 #186 3:40PM
That's the time we normally go and love it then. Crowds are lower, parks are not open as late but usually can get a lot done and you don't feel like you are wiped out. You are going to have a great time. I would suggest mid week though , weekend are a little busier - mmddgp  389.0 #17 3:47PM
