We came home on the 19th 3 years ago and it was fine! I would say the 20th would be more crowded but I'm not for sure. It's totally different going around Christmas. It's like Christmas every day and very magical! I think you should be fine but just in case do the things you really want to in the beginning of your trip. :)

The crowds start the week of thanksgiving. New fantasyland is really pushing up attendance so really it's hard to say what the crowds will be like this year - IndyandMarion

I heard that they are sharing a bus with the new art hotel. Is that true?
We love the pop century! It's our favorite value resort. Get a preferred room if u don't want to walk a mile to your room. The food court is the best I've seen. It has one bus line also so no stops at other resorts. The French quarter is nice too. No need to request a preferred room there, not a good selection in food court. Not sure if bus stops at riverside too, if so that could be a long bus ride. One nice thing at FQ is a boat ride to downtown disney - shewsluvwdw

Pop is awesome!! We stayed there three times now and will again on our next trip. It's fun, clean, colorful and everything is larger then life. Since you both want different resorts why don't you stay at both? Just another option. Ill post some pics for you😃 - Schramke

I think over planning everything is to hard and unpredicatable so i just go with flow and do what you can when you can and ask the kids what attraction do they want to see the most and make it a priority and let the rest sort it self out otherwise you wil come home dissapointed instead of being shocked and amazed by what disney has to offer. - puddy77
