I am a big disney fan and have been to WDW at least 8 times. I have been to DL 3 times. My first visit was when i was 13. I am now a proud mommy of a 6 year old son (Riley) who is starting to fall in love with Disney as well. I took him in March 2010 for

That's a lot of loot! Try calling Disney to see if they'll replace Tink. I came home with the wrong set if salt & pepper shakers once and Disney sent me the right set free of charge! Feel better soon Tracy & happy Friday! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

My son got sick a week prior to his first trip too. He is asthmatic and has allergies that acted up! Doc knew we were going and gave him meds when normally she would make us wait a few days. He was fine the day before we left and had a blast! I hope her fever is just a 24 hour case and feels better when she wakes up. Lots of water. :)
I took my 2 year old on her first trip when she was sick with strep. Doc knew we were taking the trip so she prescribed strong antibiotics. They turned out to be too strong and made her even sicker!!! I stopped them on the second day. (Even had to take her to pediatric GI specialist when we got home because of the wrong antibiotic being given to her-but that's another story lol.) With that being said she still had a great first trip as did her father and I.) We just had to take everything into consideration and slow down our pace a little bit. - leveretttltl

My first time taking my son to WDW for his b-day, I got sick the night before. I was so ticked. I felt that sore throat itch. Woke up the next morning and I felt the cold. I bought some cold pills in the airport. Then when we got to the hotel bought some medicine and cough drops. Kept them on me the whole time. I managed to fight it off while there. Then about two weeks later it hit me hard again. I would recommend dimetapp for night time, and tylenol children's cold medicine for the day time. - Lelundrial

I think at this time in the world, we may all need to beef up security at disney parks such as bringing in airport walk thru metal detectors before something tragic happens which i always pray never happens.. Ever but the amount of crazies out there. The DL dry ice bomb, i was reading on a MW calif that it was a CM that did it... Unbelievable - bubbaschoice

Been there done that lol! After the rain the crowd is usually smaller since a lot of families go home. Hang in there. :)
