Oh, sweet friend, I'm afraid you get some of this from your big sis, BagGal. When I worked full time, it was hard for me to enjoy vacations or days off because of all the preparations prior and all the catching up after. I would get very stressed, teary-eyed, frustrated. Even now that I only work pt, I was stressed before our trip. Had to make sure we had all the work the girls were going to miss, my class was in order, my volunteer duties at the school were all covered, etc, etc. I'm so sorry you had a stressful day, but you are not alone!! I'm so glad you took tomorrow off for packing, etc!! Now, your big sis is going to give you some advice. Pour yourself a glass of lemonade, go sit on the couch, pull out your laminated Disney plans, and think about all the fun your are going to have in just about 36 hours!!!!! It's the original and everything plus something's there are better then at wdw, BUT I've been going to wdw every year(except for 2011 when we went to dl instead) since I was 2, and I've basically grown up with it. If you have to pick between the two on where to go go to dl if you've never been there its always fun to try something new and you will love dl too!!! But if you were to compare mk to dl park dl would win, there's a lot more to see and do then at just mk(plus POTC, BTMRR and small world are just a few of the rides that are better at dl) but wdw does have Epcot, ak, and HS which are different, true some of their rides do appear at dl or DCA but there are only two parks at dl. Either way both places are amazing!

Hugo, we love you! I almost quit MW after my first RAK on the DL side. This was before I was on the WDW side very much, and I was new to MW. People made fun of my RAK, and to this day it sits next to my computer as a reminder of how insensitive people can be. I get what Hendizl is saying. Sometimes people make comments without realizing how they will be taken. I used to shoot from the hip and post the first thing that came to mind. Usually silly, funny things. But you can never tell how they will be taken and its not worth hurting someone's feelings. I know I'm rambling but I'm really upset. All I know is that if it wasn't for the WDW side of MouseWait I wouldn't have stayed on this app. - jacdanfan

Those are usually the bullies of the world who get taught their lessons in life sooner or later. Please don't let that bother you too much! Splash is cool. Probably was just teasing. I know it's hurtful, but the DL side is much different. Thick skin and sarcasm is needed on that side. What is great about the FLip side is that you are all so welcoming and loving and accepting. MWers on the DL side are all those things as well, but it is a very different, fast moving crowd. I love wdw since I've been going there forever but everyone seems a lot nicer at dl. When we were there in 2011 they were doing a thing where everyone in your party of ur staying at a dl resort hotel gets 2 fast passes per person, well the cm who was checking us in was being incredibly nice since there was a little mix up and gave us each 2 extra per person, in the end we ended up with I think 20 fast passes. Sounds like you two are having a great time so far!!!!
I dont get it! Yous all have these horror stories and saying wdw is not such a good place, when i can recall so much magic happening to me! For one the photopass people are always SO nice, their always posing us, and we ALWAYS have stitch or tinker bell popping out of the photo, second- ive never seen any dirtiness in any of the 4 parks. Its funny you say that cause disney world is the only place i refuse to not pick up after myselfn! Haha. And third, every year i go cast members always reach out! I cant tell you howcmany times ive recieved special fast passes, back scene tours of rides, and escorted to the front all resulting from friendly cast members! Im so sorry you guys have all these bad things to say about disney lol because it really is wonderful! Ive never been to disneyland but im sure traveling across the us to a place you dont go so bery often, everythings going to seem a lot more magical and different. So i get it! - Boardwalkgirl

I've never had those issues with DW. I had all those issues with DL. It also is how you look at things. If your favorite place is DL you won't let issues bother you but when you visit DW everything bothers you. Because its not the same. I can honestly say that's how I was with DL. I love DW and always will love it more than DL. I sure hope you guys didn't let it ruin your trip. Just always remember the world is full of idiots and unfortunately Disney can't keep them all out. XD. Also, issues with smoking and stuff should always be reported! I'm sure Disney does what they can to catch that stuff. :) - codiejoe
