There is a photopass spot in front of the mansion (but I would pass and use your own camera) and a ghost will sit on the lawn from time to time. I've not seen any characters around it for M&Gs before but that might change this year. - IndyandMarion

We will be staying at SSR in 33 days. I have heard it is a huge resort. We will have 2 small children and my mother. Staying in a 1 bdr suite. Any tips for getting around this resort?
Stayed there last month and loved it. Do you know what section you're staying in? Can be a long walk to food court, but there quite a few bus stops. - wdw1

We have stayed there before. There are bus stops scattered throughout the resort so, if you want to get from Point A to Point B within the resort, it's very easy to do. An example would be if you are located in one of the rear sections & you want to go to the main pool, spa or restaurant, which are toward the front. If you haven't stayed in a 1-BR before, you'll love it. It's so nice to have that washer & dryer in the unit! We pack half of what we used to. - SueBoo

It is my understanding that Disney makes their own M&C. It is very thick & creamy. If she's used to the boxed M&C w/powdered cheese, it's not like that at all. I am still a picky eater & I enjoy it. Ooh that sounds so fun! Make sure they know youre going to disney at the airport. Lol. My parents surprised me a couple Septembers ago for my bday and i never caught on. They picked me up from school on my mums bday (which is 2 days before mine). I thought we were doing something for her bday. We drove to Detroit, i thought we were going to greenfield village or maybe Canada. We parked at the airport, i thought we were just parking there. We got bags out and went inside, i thought we were flying to Chicago. They told me before we went thru security, i finally caught on. Oy vey!! - C-Ticket
