***ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE*** Be Our Guest reservations can be made starting at 7AM (EST) on Monday, August 20th, so they bumped up the time!! Good luck my MW family!!
I want to start crossing off things on my 'getting ready for WDW' list, but it's just a tad bit to early, WHY? How early do you start preparing (minus the ADRs:))
**ANNOUNCEMENT** - You can make reservations for Be Our Guest on August 20th at noon (EST), the first date that will be available for Dinner is November 19th!! YAY for many of you!!
Got an email yesterday, my brand new camera might be part of recall. I can't send it in or I won't have one for our trip. It could have a chemical on the grips that can irritate your skin and eyes. They say mine isn't currently on the list, but could be if the list is expanded and he told me I could send it for piece of mind. Just what I need a rash on my skin while at WDW, thanks for letting me vent!!
Anyone use Frogg Toggs while at WDW? Do they work well?
Sorry if someone else has mentioned this, but wanted to pass along that the Magic the Memories and You will be showing for the last time on September 3rd. This show will be refurbished (sounds like something similar but different) in time for the holidays.
Good news! School open house tonight and neither teacher was upset that the girls will miss 6 days to go to Disney. Actually the 4th grade teacher said a lot of kids were going on vacation just a few weeks after school starts.
Has anyone staying at AKL went over to Samawati Springs Pool? I read you aren't suppose to, but also read that people do? I'm confused!! I don't want to cause any trouble :)
#Retro - 2007 when we went for our middle daughters birthday (5), and our littlest was 7 months old. Their 1st trip.
#Retro - From 2001 (my second visit, hubby and oldest daughter's first visit). 1. Jacky @ 8 2. The three of us at MGM. 3. Me and Tigger (my fave) @ AK. 4. Jacky at Garden Grill our first night there.
Huge favor MW family. Would anyone at AKL this week mail me an activity schedule? If it'll take too much time away from your family please don't do it, but if you can chuck one in the mail in just a minute or two I'd owe you big!
Well, the Resort ressies are made, YAY! Makes it seem more real, even though I've been fine tuning our agenda for 6 months, lol! So, what are the 'not to miss' things your family always does?
If we can actually get up early enough to make RD what park would you pick to do it at? Magic Kingdom? We've never done it before!
I'm updating the Disney binder!! We switched two days around and so more fine tuning. Not much though, I decided to book 3 TS and we have The Pirates League, the rest we are winging!!
Since we drive to WDW I buy the girls a 'gift/surprise' for each day of our trip. Last year I put them in lunch bags with the Tinkerbell crew on them and they opened one per day, things like: a trading pin, a vinylmation, a autograph book, etc. This year I'm only doing it on the days we are actually on the road, there's so many exciting things at WDW there's no need to have them for days during our stay. So today, I bought a DS game for the trip there and another for the way home (got GREAT deals on eBay!). I've also gotten them Muppet vinylmations! Anyone got another ideas?
