We visited last year during the festival. Lots of great food in extra kiosks around Epcot! I'm sure other people will have lots of more experienced advice, but I have one caution for you. It was 7pm and there were a TON of people, a lot of them very intoxicated. My kids heard a lot of very foul language and got bumped into and run over a lot, on our way out of the park.

WDW in October, especially during the Food & Wine Festival is my favorite time to visit! During the festival about 25 different kiosks are setup around the World Showcase. Each kiosk represents a different country or region and offers a few appetizer sized food items and a few wine tastings. Most items are priced between $3-6 each. I love walking around the World Showcase and making a meal out of it! It's a popular event and can get very crowded, especially on Friday & Saturday nights. Try going for a late lunch during the week and you'll avoid some of that chaos. They also offer a concert series and expo hall. It's a lot of fun! In my opinion, it is very much worth it! We've eaten there 5 times now and have always had amazing food and service. My mouth waters everytime I think of the cheddar cheese soup, filet and maple creme brûlée!

LeCellier is very good & worth it if you can spare the extra credit !!! If not , you are right , there are others that are good for just 1 credit . We do LeCellier every other trip .i don't know if I helped or not . Happy planning !!!! - skcanfield

We stayed there in 2010, in one of the pirate rooms. The rooms are great! My son pretended he was the captain of his pirate ship bed every night. We really didn't spend much time at the resort. I do know that the pool is great, tho!

The cast member working at the shop outside the Pirates ride told us at checkout to make sure we put it in the checked bags. They should make a habit of telling everyone that. How heartbreaking for your little guy!

We had a "fight" our last trip over SSE. My daughter said "It's a disco ball." My son said "No, it's the DeathStar from Star Wars." My husband had to add,"You're all wrong. It's a golf ball!" Lol!

During MNSSHP, my 9 year old son was being a sport, tolerating waiting in line for his sister to see different princesses. Flynn Rider pulled my son aside, talked to him for prob 10 minutes and said, "How about a picture of you & me? No ladies." My son loved it and felt a "manly" part of the festivities!

Many many! My favorite was about 3 years ago. We were waiting for pooh and tigger at mk. We were next in line and a family with 2 adult disabled children came up the handicap ramp and the cm asked if we minded if they took them next? I said absoulutly not! Well the interaction between the characters and the children was amazing!! My grandkids even commented on how happy everyone was. Me and their mother cried happy tears and commented this is why we love Disney! - mmddgp

We've stayed at Carribean beach & the Poly. Both were great in their own ways, but the Poly is my favorite! It has such a great relaxing vibe, awesome restaurants, and such convenience with the monorail!

Receintly the past few years we have only stayed at pops love the grounds pools and bussing. We have stayed at all valu and pops is our favorite. The grand kids like the sports also. We have only stayed at port Orleans, CB, AK when we can get a deal on the room but it has been awhile. Love AKL because of the grounds, animals, story time @ campfire Would love to stay there with the grand kids but really can't do two rooms there - mmddgp

I've never been on a cruise, but if you're worried about motion sickness, ask your doctor before you go for a prescription for a medication patch. Sometimes what they prescribe is a drug called scopolamine. The patch stays on your skin, you don't have to worry about taking pills.

I went on a cruise many years ago (not a Disney one) and my doctor perscribed these patches that you put behind your ear for motion sickness....they were amazing! Never got sick or woozy once...I think they were called Transderm Scop? Check them out! - ncjal
