@DizneyGirl Here is a shot of Phantom Manor (Disneyland Paris' Haunted Mansion) from when I was there in 2007. Unfortunately, I don't remember the inside, so I can't tell you how it compares.

Topic of the Week: Parades & Shows (thanks to CP85)
What is your favorite location for watching (or photographing - Indy) Wishes?
Transportation and Ticket Center Ferry Dock. You still get the music for the show there. Not many people go there to watch it at that spot. And you get to see the real size of the pyro bursts. Think anyone who was at the Meet-Up would agree on that. Plus if you're staying at a non MK resort, the busses are right across the plaza. Monorail to the MK resorts are a skip away, or you could walk to the Poly from there. No fighting the exit rush after the fireworks. You're back to your hotel before those poor people in the Hub have even made it out of the park! - IndyandMarion

Fantasia is the absolute best!! Avoid tho during the day during sweltering heat...can get very very hot..lol. It's great tho in general. We love it. Tried winter summerland too and that was pretty cool. Highly recommend fantasia gardens tho - mickeynme

#RetroDay The topic of gum in the parks has come up before. Just because they don't sell it, doesn't mean people don't chew it. Here's what happens when chewed gum is left on the ground in the Florida sun & the very unDisney-like behavior from my mother that followed! This was in 2004 and still cracks me up! (BTW, she was still a Disney Store CM at the time!)

#RetroDay Here is my mother, myself, and my former boss after getting caught in a terential downpour on Kilimanjaro Safaris in 2004. Everytime our safari vehicle turned a corner, the rain would beat in the side. When it was beating in my boss's side, he made us slide over the other way. When it was coming in my mother's side, he refused to slide back onto the wet seat! She definately got the worst of it!

This evening I came home from a 12-hour work day to discover my pumpkin Poi somehow injured his left eye! It's so sad to see him all squinty eyed. But, my brother will be taking him to the vet first thing in the morning. Needless to say, I'm hoping for a speedy recovery!

I love the rusticness of log homes so I really enjoy AKL, Wilderness lodge and cabins. We have only stayed at AKL would love to stay at the others but we do enjoy visiting and dinning there - mmddgp

I think most overlooked is DeVine at AK. And "it's tough to be a bug" I think also that a lot of ppl rush past on their way to everything and they completely miss the animals that are right on the sidelines..lol..armadillos,warthogs,etc,etc - mickeynme
