I was too busy today to really participate in the "park of the day". But, since Epcot is my favorite WDW park, I thought I'd sign off with one final collage. I can't wait to be back "home"! Goodnight everyone.
In honor of Epcot Day, here are some shots from one of my favorite attractions, Living with the Land! This ride always makes me wish I had a green thumb. The Behind the Seeds walking tour (WDW's least expensive tour) is a great way to learn more about this program. The Land Pavilion's food court serves produce that was grown right here!
Thank you, DizneyGirl, for thinking of me! One of these visits we will be at WDW at the same time. What an epic meetup that will be!
@tracsant This was my group for the Wild Africa Trek (post tour) with one of our two tour guides.
Wild Africa Trek's lunch is catered by Tusker House. The bottom photo is my delicious vegetarian meal with glass of POG (pineapple, orange, guava) in the top right. For you meat eaters, the to left is the standard meal. I am very excited to try Tusker House for the first time this Nov!
Here is a photo of my Wild Africa Trek at AK. I highly recommend this tour! It is expensive, but includes lunch and a high quality PhotoPass CD (where this photo is from). Also, Disney periodically discounts this tour if you book later in the day.
In the spirit of Tracy's "park of the day", here are some shots of Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is an amazingly beautiful resort, in the middle of what feels like nowhere. But, don't let that scare you off! Make breakfast or dinner ressies at Boma (my favorite) for an excellent excuse to enjoy this resort!
My Mrs I postcard collection from WDW is growing! Thanks Maggie, I wish I could have been there too. Well, then there was that whole Andrea thing... Scratch that! I wish you could be there with me in November! π
RAK alert! RAK includes a Buena Vista Bugle, DL & DCA park maps, and a Cars Land button. To enter, either tell me either how long since you were at Disney or how long before you go back! Exactly 2 months ago I was at DLR & in exactly 5 months I will be "home" for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon! RAK ends Friday, June 14th.
Good morning everyone! This has been a very eventful (and a little expensive) weekend for my WDW trip planning. Friday I booked my flights and Saturday I purchased my park tickets! Since my ressies were already done, all I have left is finding some post-race travel partners! Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
Good morning & TGIF! I have exactly 160 days left. Don't you just love countdown milestones!
Not long ago we were talking about the Skyway at Disneyland and how it actually went through the Matterhorn. Some of us remembered this, while others are too young to have experienced it. Here is a photo I took of the Matterhorn from the Skyway back in April of 1986!
Good morning & happy Memorial Day everyone! I wanted to share some photos jacdanfan, goofygal, and I took of Dianeyland's Storybook Canal Boats last month. This was the first time my Mom and I had rode these in years! They were even better with the addition of some baby duckies. π₯ Have a great day!
After all that talk if Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Zebra Domes, I wanted to share some photos from my visit last October. Dinner at my favorite WDW restaurant, Boma, is always a highlight for me. Not just because of the great food, but because it's a great opportunity to enjoy this beautiful resort!
Good morning/afternoon everyone! I just finished 6.5 miles on the treadmill. That's the halfway mark! Slowly, but surely, it gets just a little bit easier every time. I'm glad I started training early. 166 days to go!
Good morning everyone & TGIF! To start off your Memorial Day weekend right, the Disney Store is offering 25% off park merchandise. Happy shopping!
Good morning everyone! I have 170 days left on my countdown and all my ressies are booked. I booked Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time, and Tusker House for lunch & Boma and la Hacienda de San Angel for dinner! I hope you all have a great day!
Good morning everyone! I'm curious, what is your favorite pavilion in Epcot's Future World and why? I love the Land pavilion! One visit, it felt like we were there every couple days! Between Living with the Land, Behind the Seeds, the Garden Grill, Sunshine Seasons, and Soarin' there is just so much to see and do!
Since most of us can't comment on posts with videos, you may comment on jacdanfan's Luigi's Flying Tires video HERE. π
Okay MrsI & justGoofin, here is a video of Luigi's Flying Tires last month at Disneyland. Video courtesy of jacdanfan. (If necessary, you may comment on separate post.)
