Here is a little Haunted Mansion, Paris style! (AKA, Phantom Manor)
Good morning everyone & happy Friday! I have just 111 days until WDW (and 180 days until DLR)!
Ladies and Gentlemen of MW Florida, I am very pleased to introduce, your team, FLip Side Fairies: Powered by Pixie Dust! â¨â¨â¨
Good morning everyone! I've hit another milestone in my WDW countdown. You know what I'll be doing in three weeks! Have a great day everyone!
Thank you tracsant, nodell111, Schramke, BuckeyeBrandi, skanfield, Ariel42, firestorm54rt, jacdanfan, and goofygal! I absolutely love my D23 Dharma Initiative patch. 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
I'm officially registered for both the Tinker Bell Half Marathon & Tinker Bell 10k! Gotta love DVC (early registration & $10 per race discount). Remember, general registration opens on Tuesday, July 9th at 12 Noon Eastern/9 am Pacific. These races are going to sell out quickly!
It's finally official! After weeks of not so subtle hints, runDisney has finally confirmed the addition of a 10k race to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend! There is no word on a 10k/Half challenge for those who complete both races yet. Either way, I'm in! Who's with me on either the 10k, Half, or both!?!
Thank you, Melissa, for completing my collection of WDW guide maps! As you know, Epcot is my favorite park. I love the sprinkle of pixie dust too!
If you could be at WDW right now, where would you be and what would you be doing there? I would be at Epcot wandering the World Showcase (preferably during the Food & Wine Festival)!
8 miles in less than 13 minutes per mile complete!!! For those of you training for runDisney races of any distance (5k, 10k, Half, etc.), what tips do you have for the rest of us? What runDisney blogs are you following?
Thank you Mrs I for the surprise RAK! These are my first WDW park maps since they updated them and will make nice additions to my collection! Please thank your "friend" for me too! ð
Apparently I missed the memo that today is Throwback Thursday. Fortunately, I was prepared! These photos are all from Disneyland. My mom took the top two (late 70's/early 80's?) but I remember taking the bottom two myself back in '86!
Good morning everyone! Progress is being made. Just 140 days to go!
One more OKW collage for the road. Yes, I could see balloony from the resort! (That cowboy sure gets around, doesn't he Indy!) Goodnight everyone!
Here are some shots from Old Key West last October. Clockwise from top left: landscaping across from bus stop @Hospitality House, just outside our front door, the view from our private patio. OKW is a pretty resort but I was disappointed by the water taxi to DTD and lack of dining options at the resort.
Port Orleans French Quarter is my all time favorite moderate resort! It offers the best combination of theme, location, and price at WDW. The grounds are beautiful & peaceful! (I recommend a water view room facing the Sassagoula River.) The bus service is tops! There is just one bus stop, and on shared buses with Riverside, POFQ is always the first stop. Even better, there is a water taxi to/from DTD. I can't tell you how relaxing the ride home is after a long day of theme parks, shopping & dining! POFQ = â¤
HS has a similar feel to DCA. While TSMM is the same, HS's queue is far superior. My favorite attraction in all WDW is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, quite different from DCA. Finally, LMA actually reminds me of Universal's Water World. It's a fun show and full of action!
The winner of my Buena Vista Bugle, DL & DCA park map, and a Cars Land button RAK is mrsincredible! Er, um, I mean, mrsincredible's friend!!! While I only have the one extra Cars Land button, I have a few extra Buena Vista Bugles and park maps. So, the runners up are... You'll just have to keep an eye on your mailboxes to see! Congratulations everyone!
I cannot share photos from the Magic Kingdom and the nearby resorts without sharing photos from our amazing cruise! Yes, that would be Captain Indy sailing Seven Seas Lagoon & Bay Lake!
Well, I'm a day late and a dollar short... Here are my NEW Fantasyland photos from last October. Enjoy your Saturday everyone!
