Good morning and happy Friday everyone! Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Merchandise is now available on DisneyStore.com through next Thursday! Stock up now for your upcoming visit or, if you are not going to make it to this year's festival, here is your big chance to bring home some of the Food & Wine magic! Have a great day!
@5DL Here are some Googled images of the Soarin' Over California queue at DCA. Like I said, it's like a museum of flight! (Again, not my photos.)
Update! While I will be on my own my first 3 days in WDW (to prepare for and complete my 1st Half Marathon!)... I will be a party of 2 the week following the race! I have customized my mother and my Magic Bands, selected our FastPasses and we purchased tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! My mother has accompanied me to MW meetup packed trips to both WDW & DLR, so this visit will be no different. Did I mention 40 days?!?!
Good morning & happy Saturday everyone! My trip planning is coming along. I have amazing MWers who have accepted my invitation to share all my dining ressies and I was offered Magic Bands! I have 9 days to customize them, so that is the new deadline to determine if I will be a party of 1 or 2. Either way, I know my MW friends will provide me with great company! Just 40 days to go!
For all of you training for your first runDisney race in 2014 (Mrs I), check out the NEW merchandise on DisneyStore.com!
So, at just 45 days out my potential group of 3 or 4 has been reduced to a party of 1 or 2. π Did I mention I have been planning this trip since March? Why is it so hard for others to commit & why does it take so long for them to say no? On the bright side, 45 days to go!
This is how I spent my Saturday morning... running in my first 5k! At each kilometer along the course were Foam Bogs full of different colored foam (hence my lovely face makeup). It was fun and over too quickly. But, it was great practice for Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon in November!
RAK winners announced... The winner if the Oozma Kappa pin is... BagGal! And the winner of the Python Nu Kappa pin is... tracsant! Congratulations to both of the winners and thank you everyone for playing along!
Good morning everyone! Today is a monster day for me at work. It's my third day in a row starting at 5 am (so tired!) and today I'll be there until 530 pm (ugh!)!! But, on the bright side, just 50 days to go!
For TinkTinkTink... The Tink plane! I'm sorry it's not the best angle. The bottom photo is the plane at my gate in PHX. The top photo shows the pixie dust that covers the outside of the overhead bins! Can you see the hidden Mickey?
RAK time!!! I picked up these pins at the Disney Store in San Antonio. To enter, first tell me which pin you prefer, Oozma Kappa or Python Nu Kappa. Next, tell me your favorite Pixar movie or Pixar character. There will be two winners. RAK ends Friday, September 20th. Good luck!
I caught a glimpse of my favorite plane during my walk today! Oh, I wish I was boarding one of these planes to MCO or SNA! Boarding in 55 days will just have to do.
Guess who went shopping at the Disney Store before leaving San Antonio yesterday!?! What a fun city! We just had the best time and were all so sad to leave. On the bright side, 58 days to WDW!
@BagGal Tonight we had dinner at Mi Tierra located in San Antonio's Market Square. You and several other locals recommended it to our group, saying it was their favorite Mexican restaurant. We were not disappointed! I hope you think as highly of Epcot's La Hacienda de San Angel!
So, I'm sitting a really boring presentation on communication and I'm sure they stole their theory from Spaceship Earth! I so wish I was at Epcot instead of sitting in this conference center right now!
Good morning from San Antonio! My Mickey Mouse camera strap and I had a great day at the Alamo and on the River Walk yesterday. I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!
Good morning from San Antonio Texas! I am off to see The Alamo this morning. It is HOT & HUMID here, so wish me luck!
Thank you Gary & Nancy for the surprise package and I absolutely LOVE the Splash Mountain pin!!! (It's hard to see in the photo, but the pin contains fabric worn by the dancers in the showboat scene.) Nancy, I don't know if I ever told you the story, but Splash at DL is my favorite ride in the park! I think what makes me prefer the DL version is that many of the audio animatronics came from America Sings, which I loved as a kid! The showboat scene always reminds me if America Sings! ("Pop goes the weasel!")
Good morning everyone. Only 65 days to go and the excitement is definitely building!!! Today it's back to work after a great holiday weekend. Happy Tuesday!
I would like to wish my fellow FLip Side Fairy good luck in the Disneyland Half Marathon. I am so proud of you, IT IS POSSIBLE!!! Go Jennifer!
