Good morning everyone! I have 170 days left on my countdown and all my ressies are booked. I booked Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time, and Tusker House for lunch & Boma and la Hacienda de San Angel for dinner! I hope you all have a great day!
Good morning everyone! I'm curious, what is your favorite pavilion in Epcot's Future World and why? I love the Land pavilion! One visit, it felt like we were there every couple days! Between Living with the Land, Behind the Seeds, the Garden Grill, Sunshine Seasons, and Soarin' there is just so much to see and do!
Since most of us can't comment on posts with videos, you may comment on jacdanfan's Luigi's Flying Tires video HERE. π
Okay MrsI & justGoofin, here is a video of Luigi's Flying Tires last month at Disneyland. Video courtesy of jacdanfan. (If necessary, you may comment on separate post.)
Good morning everyone! I'm really missing Epcot today. Specifically the sights & sounds when you first enter Future World. Do you ever miss something specific about the parks like that? Have a magical day everyone! β¨β¨β¨
Last call for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon - 99% Full

Good afternoon everyone! Has anyone else received emails from MouseWait Support today announcing you have earned MouseRank points & Credits? This is the second one I've received today. If this is a new thing, my inbox is going to be full!
Good morning everyone! There are just 183 days left until Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend! The Half is 91% full and Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5k is 51% full. I would call that... Decision time! For those of you who have registered for the Half, how is your training going? I'm up to 5 miles @13:15 per mile.
Good evening everyone! Here are a few more shots from our Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at Disneyland. The top left is the check-in area for the tour just after we were supplied our audio devices. These devices not only enabled us to hear our tour guide in a crowded park, but also enabled him to play audio clips of Walt telling the stories of Disneyland in his own words. It was very touching! The top right is the petrified tree Walt bought Lillian as a gift (yes, a gift!) On the bottom is the New Orleans Square train station, located between the famous Pirates of the Caribbean & Haunted Mansion, and one of the beautiful facades in New Orleans Square.
The Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour also includes lunch catered by the delicious Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. We were given a choice of sandwiches or salads, dessert, and a beverage. While we were eating, we chatted with a CM who has worked the Dream Suite (formally the Disney Gallery located above POTC)! It was fascinating to hear how sleeping in the suite while the park is closed really works!
One if the amazing experiences during my DLR visit last month was the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. The four of us had done this tour several years ago, but with the recent changes and addition of a visit to Walt's apartment, it was like a whole new tour! The top two photos are from Club 33. You still don't make it past the lobby, but they do allow for photo ops! The middle photos (of its a small world and DL's hub) show our tour guide, Esteban. It was clear that he loves his job! He told us stories that were not part of the script, but are shared among CMs. When he told us the story of when Walt died, he had to stop several times because he was so choked up it was hard to speak. The next day we even saw Esteban in the park with a friend on his day off! But, the highlight of the tour was the visit to Walt's apartment (bottom photos). Anyone who loves this park knows that Walt had a private apartment located over the Fire Station on Main Street. Since Walt died, the lamp in the window has been kept on in his honor. But, until now, Guests were not allowed inside. As you can see, the furnishings were chosen by Lillian. There was a kitchenette and bathroom straight out of the 60's! We weren't allowed to take photos, but the CMs do take a group photo for you. It was an amazing experience & I would recommend this tour to any of you!
I did it, I got fitted for running shoes today! They are Mizuno Wave Inspire 9's and I love the colors! For those of you considering the Wine & Dine Half Marathon in November, registration is 80% full and the cost will go up by $15 on June 19th. It's almost decision time. Join me, you don't want to miss all the fun!
Good morning everyone! I see my friend John (jalex239) is or has been in the parks recently. If you see this, I just wanted to say "hi" π and you are missed. Happy Tuesday!
Three weeks ago tonight I was at the Happiest Place on Earth with some great friends making amazing memories. Goodnight everyone and may your dreams be full of pixie dust!
Happy Sunday everyone! Last week, when my mom was in town, we had dinner with a couple of our Disney friends. Look what I got! Little-Known Facts About Well-Known Places: Disneyland and chocolates from Club 33. As much as I love chocolate, I won't be eating these!
I would like to wish a very happy birthday to a very special MWer. Over the years he has gone by many names... IndyandMarion (or Indy for short), Lanam, or to his friends... simply Chris. He is the reason the world desperately needs a sarcasm font. A Disney encyclopedia, complete with commentary from his unique perspective. His talent for photography amazes us all daily. Happy 27th Birthday to my awesome friend Chris!!!
Good morning everyone & happy Sunday! What are you all up to on this last day of the weekend? Besides my usual Sunday chores, this afternoon I will be preparing and serving dinner at the local Ronald McDonald House. It should be fun!
