Make reservations ahead of time!! We used our dining plan at coral reef and les chefs de France in Epcot. Also, Cinderella's royal uses 2 credits per person but it was so worth it to eat inside the castle :)
Instead of using a snack to buy a water or drink, save one. When you eat you get a drink and they are huge. My family of 4 shares two fountain drinks and get two bottle drinks to bring around parks since drinks come free with dining plan. Then just refill at water fountains. It really saves your limited snacks not wasting them on drinks!(: also save some deserts from lunch/dinner and use as snacks later! - amandapanda3

We usually our ddp for dinner so for breakfast we use a snack at the hotels quick serve for a bagel or croissant , Alot times we use to ts for one meal such as yachtsman steakhouse and still have qs so it's not like we are losing a meal and when we go during the food and wine we save all our snacks and eat around the world:) - tracsant

There's three different types of dining plans to add to your magic your way ticket: 1) Quick service dining plan including 2 quick service meals and 1 snack, 2) Dining plan including 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal, and 1 snack, 3) Deluxe Dining Plan including 3 meals whether table or quick service and 2 snacks.

I wish I had been able to go on this during the day! There were t-storms all day when I visited and it kept closing/re-opening but I finally got to ride it at night! Soo much fun!!

When I visited I stayed at Pop Century, which I thought was very nice especially for a value resort! 3 pools, shuttles, the themes were so intricate! We were basically there to just sleep and spend the whole days at the parks but I definitely loved it and would stay there again if I don't do a moderate/deluxe resort next time :)
We have only stayed in the value resorts (All Star Music and All Star Movies). Many
people love the Pop Century for a value resort. We have loved both of the ones we stayed in. They offer the Disney Dining Plan for free for certain check in dates. Enjoy! - poohbr1205

We have stayed at CBR, PO, AKL all of the Valu( our favorite Pops). I don't think there is any bad resort on Disney property it is a matter of preference and budget. AKL was amazing. Discount wise if you have the opportunity to go in valu season it will save you. Having the Disney visa can save you on hotel and merchandise along with the annual pass. Booking through a travel agent or AAA also has discount benifits. Watching for specials that are announced can save you money on rooms and or dinning. Start by booking and just keep checking you can always change your plans around for the better deal. Have fun planning - mmddgp

We stay at a moderate resort.. We rotate through them all every two years... About 169-189 a night.. We walk to stay at a more expensive resort like wilderness or animal kingdom but they are 330 plus a night - a huge jump... Port Orleans was my favorite so far - both! But... Next time I may try art of animation or the poly if I roll into some cash! My two boys want to stay at all star sports... Heard great things about it but worried about size!! - timon
