I love this series!!! It means so much more since my first visit to WDW this past Aug.
I haven't read these guess I need to check this series out. Are they available online to read on a tablet, does anyone know? I rarely read but this may have me hooked for a while. ;) - txdisneymomma  61.3 #65 10:14PM
Anyone starting the series, believe me when I say you'll be sucked in & want to read them back to back to back!!! Amazon has them for Kindle so I would think they're available for any tablet :-) - Maleficent69  77.1 #58 10:23PM

I loved 1900 park fare! I got to waltz with Prince Charming and even sing with both of the stepsisters! The characters totally made my night!
All meals at 1900 Park Fare! - DizneyGirl  382.5 #10 7:29PM
We like Tusker House. =) - eeyorefan107l  274.9 #17 7:02PM
My faves (all breakfast) are Tusker House, Akershus, CRT, and Chef Mickey's. We enjoyed Cape May (breakfast) and Garden Grill (dinner) too. I agree, Park Fare (dinner) is great for the characters, but none of us liked the food. (There were 5 of us and we all had trouble finding food we liked at the buffet.) - BagGal  151.3 #40 10:11AM
i have never had one but i hear about the breakfast ones and im so debating on doing one soon they sound fun - Hendizl  1377.8 #58 12:42PM

Last week in AK, I saw a Grandma type woman get off Kali river rapids soaking wet without her pants on! She was just wearing her WHITE granny panties! Then she grabbed her jeans from her husband and walked into the bathroom. Funniest/weirdest thing I ever saw in the parks hands down!

I don't know if it s odd or more insane , but while at getting On the monorail at the contemporary two families started a huge argument about who was going to sit in front it , it was so awkward , they were yelling and cursing , I mean hello we are in Disney surrounded by children and families , Idk how it played out because as soon as we could we ran in to get a seat , didn't want to see anymore of that , I peace and relaxation at wdw:) - tracsant  604.9 #3 7:27AM
The oddest thing I've seen at Disney park,(Disneyland,) happened to me in about 1990. I was standing in line with three of my friends to go into Disneyland. A lady came up to this with a little boy,who was about five, and asked would we take him into Disneyland for the day. She said she had to work that day, inside Disneyland. She said she was playing in a band on the plaza and they wouldn't let her take her grandson in. We said no, but she pushed him at us and said be good for these ladies and here's his ticket. Then she ran away inside the gates. When we got to the turnstiles, he did not have a real ticket. We told the DL people what had happened. They took him and fortunately, later that day, we saw the band playing in the plaza and he was sitting in a chair next to her. My friends and I all work in education, and we wondered if we just looked "child friendly" or why on earth would a grandma do that and not even ask our names?! - ally  445.1 #4 12:23AM

My family wants to go to the space center on Saturday. We check into our hotel this Tuesday night and start our park adventures Wednesday.
Do it all the time. Real sense of freedom to do what and when you want. Plus you can just sit on a bench and people watch as long as you want. You'll love it! - IndyandMarion  944.8 #1 5:08PM
I've never done the parks alone & I don't know if anyone else has When are you going? - Tinkerbell1265  384.6 #9 4:47PM
Im 18 and i LOVE to venture off to other parks while my family is up and away. I can go at my own place and i know i can count on the cast members to be my friend if i get lonely! LOL - Boardwalkgirl  37.4 #85 6:00PM
I might have a day on my own during my October trip. The rest of my party has talked about going to Universal, which doesn't interest me. I don't think I'd mind a day alone at Disney! I know I would feel safe & comfortable there. And there are several other MWers who will be around, so I'm sure I can keep myself busy if it happens! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  425.6 #7 8:13PM

Any suggestions will be helpful!
What everyone failed to mention is the guest assistance card from guest relations. (which is typically how people with wheelchairs are allowed to bypass the standby and go into the fastpass line as some people have stated). Let the GR person know your situation and they will make the decision on which card to give you. Be advised, many queue lines are built to code per the Disability Act and therefore some attractions won't accept the card for that reason. - IndyandMarion  944.8 #1 7:26AM

Ahh, how exciting! Sounds like you got great reservations planned! Make sure to take tons of pictures!(: - MeganAnn  49.3 #70 9:26PM
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach in March. We ate just about everything they offer in the food court and the best thing was the salmon believe it not! (if you like salmon!) Also, be sure to request a room nearest to the Port area, it is a LONG walk from some rooms to get there for food, drinks, and main pool area! The property is gorgeous. - iwannaBAprincess  14.2 #5913 10:30PM
Our favorite thing from our two trips was the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. I am told that the reservations for it open up about 30-60 days out. Not sure if that is correct, but it was about that when we got ours. It fills up fast cuz they only have room for 50 or so people. But it was an AMAZING experience! - poohbr1205  14.3 #157 10:08AM

Thanks for the tips about hotels! Any WDW tips in general?
I really like the disney world site and allears.net, go to the search section of allears and just type in things you are interested in most! Review the park info on line of everything they have to offer before you go. DW is so much bigger, so having a plan in place before you go of your must see and dos is great and helps you maximize your time. You won't be able to do everything in one trip. Enjoy AK and EPCOT, since those are so unique, but don't miss MK and HS. We like to start and finish our trips with MK. When you visit, try not to compare the two, and try not to be overwhelmed by the size. You will absolutely love it!! - mrsincredible  431.9 #6 11:10PM
The most popular value resort seems to be Pop Century. Of course AoA is the newest value resort, but the prices seem to be higher than Pop. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  425.6 #7 10:16PM
I stay at the Value resorts & my fave is Pop Century. I've found it to be clean, well set up, quiet even for a resort that has a lot of families with small kids, the pools are fun too. If you stay at any of the Values be sure to get a Preferred Room. It's closer to the main hall & buses. - Tinkerbell1265  384.6 #9 12:15AM
