I wouldn't really call the Garden Grill an "experience". The food is good, there are characters, and of course there is the novelty of the rotating restaurant with views of Living with the Land. He worked there after college for a couple of years and then went into the Army for WWII. He liked it, but wanted to be an artist, which is what he did until he died. He really admired Walt. - ally

Ah, the Caribbean! My other favorite! Tip- request a preferred room, like Martinique, so that you will be walking distance to the main pool and food. It's a very large resort.
I like that it has more of a tropical vacation feel. It's spread out and has grounds with beaches, grass, rivers and trees. Instead of everything being cramped and stacked on top of each other. Try to get a room closer to the food court though for convienence. - Westcoast

We have stayed at Pop several times and have never had a problem. I'm a light sleeper, too. Just ask for a room away from the pools.

I found that hotel to be noisy when I stayed there... Thin walls and kids running everywhere at all hours, but it was cheap and clean... Sorry to hear this! - wonderlandgirl

@Bakersjars - We are SOOO packing snacks this trip!!! I never even thought that was possible. I figured if you didn't get stopped trying to take them on the plane, you'd get stopped at the gate during the backpack check. That will save us a ton of money on snacks!! :) - mrsincredible

Pop is my favorite resort. I'm on a budget (because I'm poor) and Pop & the All Stars are the way to go. The rooms are smaller than the moderate or deluxe resorts but how much time do you spend in your room anyway? 😄 The entertainments & fun pools at Pop & the All Stars make up for it. - Tinkerbell1265

My comments keep disappearing. Ok we love pop!! It's our favorite I think you'll love it. We had a horrible experience with AAA. So if you go through them triple check everything. We were told it was going to be one price witch was cheaper then going through Disney so we booked with AAA but by the time they added charges we were not told about it was $400 more expensive then booking the trip myself. They were horrible about getting us our magical express stuff and they messed up our flight. So if you go though them stay on top of everything. - Schramke

Ever since our first trip, we go on pirates like 5 times in a row, then the jungle cruise, then over to aloha isle for ice cream. I always get a nesquik chocolate milk for some reason, but this year I'm definitley getting the dole whip float haha - batesjake
