My daughter's first Disney experience was when she was four at Disney Land. She pointed at everything that sparkled and called it pixie dust. She's a sweetie, but no cat will beat Figaro. He was amazing with children. We miss him. - PixieDust76  76.7 #73 10:48AM

Aww that's amazing! So excited for you! I have been reading up on some of the hotels and am so confused in where to stay! I think the more I read the worse it gets. That was my feeling also on the DL hotel. Will the festivities only be in July or will it be longer. Happy planning - mmddgp  385.5 #17 8:07PM
I have read the anniversary festivities will begin in April. The actual day is July 17. Just let me know if you need a hotel rec for DL. I used to do that for a living you know! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  826.1 #4 8:12PM

Order park maps online, they are keepsake maps and you can use them to plan your trip ahead of time, they are REALLY nice maps.  Then grab maps at the parks to use while at the parks.  I agree, check out allears.net for food info.  We love: Kona Cafe (Polynesian Resort), 'Ohanas (Polynesian Resort), The Wave (Contemporary Resort), Sci-Fi Dine-In (Hollywood Studios), Mama Melrose (Hollywood Studios), Coral Reef (EPCOT), Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom), Tony's (Magic Kingdom), Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom) and Peco Bill's (Magic Kingdom).  Also MrsI's tip on taking a mid-day break is a MUST, you will feel so much better and have such a great evening at the parks!! - DizneyGirl  568.0 #8 2:16PM

Oh no girl, you're definitely not cray cray. I fight tears on our last day at the park, in the magical express, and on the plane coming home every single time. Being at Disney is the only time that I feel free and away from reality.

Nope not at all! I cry the last day always! Last year in oct when my hubby took me as a surprise, I was an emotional wreck! I cried every night I left a park, like it was going to be the last time I saw it! I do yak a lot of photos and relive through them. 😘 - mmddgp  385.5 #17 7:38AM

Thanks. At this point, we are still in the "honeymooning" stage, and we still feel like it's controlling us. The insurance company was even so rude that they actually refused to approve giving her a pump! We are fighting it, as we had really hoped to have it up and running before our trip. The past several months have been so difficult. We're just praying that things will eventually work out. :(
There are plenty of sugar free stuff. Ice cream cookies. Do you carb count - 5disneylovers  835.2 #3 4:28PM
I know the food courts and the park carts all have some great portions of healthy snacks like carrots and celery, salads, fruits, etc. at each park there are also some selections to choose from. I'm also pretty sure that if you went into a restraunt and ordered something to go for that reason you would be able to do that also. - mmddgp  385.5 #17 4:03PM
I always carry jiff peanut butter with me. When my sugar drops it brings it right up.I don't know if that would be an option for your daughter. - jbzdogz  10.3 #229 6:25PM
Thanks for the support, all. It's just so overwhelming. I guess a Dole Whip without the juice and a churro won't hurt, and maybe I'll split a pretzel with her. We are going to overcome this! - PixieDust76  76.7 #73 9:21PM
