The Hilton bonnet creek is really nice, it's actually right in the middle of Disney world however it is not owned by Disney, we stayed there two years ago since we arrived a day early and wanted to stay an extra day - nodell111

we stayed at the fairfield inn and suits it was reasonable and very classy free breakfast and shuttle to dtd so you can get your fix just before you go or you can drive yourself (less than a mile) - firestorm64rt

we were at blizzard beach in mid december in 1999. I remember the temp being in the low 80s. Got lucky cause it was the warmest day of our week. Check disney website for refurb times, usually in jan or feb

One water park is opened. If you live in a place with cooler temps than you might enjoy the water park. But for me personally it is not hot enough to play in water. There is so much to do and see in Dec that I never miss the water park. - Jazdaz88
