We felt that Cinderellas Royal Table was bland for the price, but more an experience meal. We really do not care for Liberty Tree Tavern or the Rainforst Cafe. There are just so many better choices.
I have had no awful places! Although the experience of lunch with the princesses at akeshires was great my kids were not fond of the selection on the buffet - mmddgp  356.2 #18 10:45PM
I hate to say it, but 1900 Park Fare for dinner (breakfast was great!). I consider myself a Disney foodie, for me, it's half the experience. And, the food, IMHO, was not good. I couldn't hardly find one thing I liked. The characters at night (Cinderella and fam) more than made up for it, though. But, we prob won't do dinner there again. - mrsincredible  735.8 #5 10:47PM

We love the quick service in Japan! It's a nice hidden gem!
I'm still working my way around the world lol but we mostly just snack at Epcot or do a TS:) - tracsant  882.1 #2 8:32AM
So far, my fave is the Yorkshire Fish Co. It is in the England pavillion. They have really great fish and chips. - poohbr1205  20.1 #150 8:44AM

Our 2009 trip was a surprise for the kids. We told them we were visiting family and friends. We kept them distracted while the flights were loading. . We waited two gates down to throw them off. I askd the flight crew to allow us to board early too...that kept the kids from hearing the boarding announcements. The flight from Norfolk to Orlando is only an hour or so, so about halfway through the flight they opened their carryons that haad been packed with a bunch of disney stuff--shirts,light toys, maps, suitcase tags, and a note that said: We cant wait to see you at the happiest place on earth! My 10 yr old figured it out and screamed and the people around us on the plane cheered when she told them. :) it was fun. I had a hard time keeping it from them because we go every two years....but it was so worth it! - amajam  20.7 #147 9:27AM

I agree Mickeys Not SO Scary Halloween Party is a must. We don't have kids and we love it. At Epcot will be the food and wine festival! If your kids are eaters this could be a fun way to get them to try new foods from around the country. For each one they try they get a stamp in their festival passport. They also have concerts during the festival. It could be a fun group like Smash Mouth... Worth seeing and part of admission at Epcot!
Congrats on the upcoming trip. We, also don't get up and going at the crack of dawm, but that's okay, we tend to enjoy the parks in the afternoon and evenings! The humidity starts to drop around 9 AM, and by 11 AM it is much nicer than at 8 AM, sothere's a great reason to start a bit later. This was our first trip to try some of the extras, I highly recommend it. Take time for a round of golf at one of the mini golf courses and spend an afternoon at one of the water parks. - DizneyGirl  529.8 #9 8:06AM
Congrats on the trip . Looks like you booked some great places to eat !!! Ak & MK can be done in a day . Epcot takes the longest , 2- 3 days to see everything . HS 1 1/2 . Illumination at Epcot is a must !!! Enjoy the magic !!!! - skcanfield  464.2 #12 8:22AM
Congrats on your trip. We are from Cali and have been to WDW twice in the last yr. We stayed on California time which worked out great. Woke up around 10am eastern time and stayed at the park that was opened the latest. There were no lines to get into the park and less lines late at night. Great dining reservations. With your kids age, they will really enjoy HS and a waterpark if you have time. Epcot is also amazing and my 10 yr old's favorite park. Have a great trip and happy planning - Disneyaddict  273.0 #967 1:22AM
Thanks guys! I think we will skip the Halloween Party at WDW and just do it at DL like we normally do. Just found out my mother in law and father in law booked a trip to over lap our trip and will surprise the kids. So much to look forward to! But first I need to get through the last week of school. We like Boma for breakfast or dinner. Mama Melroses at HS, Via Napoli and San Angel Inn at Epcot, and for a quick service we always eat at Columbia Harbour House in MK!
Welcome! You'll love it here! My family's favorite places are:MK-crystal palace, Tony's and BOG. HS-sci fi dine in and 50's, AK- rainforest cafe, Epcot- teppan edo in Japan. Happy planning! - brittandkell  338.0 #593 9:26AM
Welcome to MW! How exciting to have an upcoming trip! Here's our faves at each park: MK - Pecos Bills which is quick service, Epcot - so far it's Garden Grill which you need reservations for well in advance, HS - it's Sci-Fi Diner or Mama Melrose (tough choice) and AK - it's Flame Tree BBQ which is quick service. You can view all menus and pricing at www.allears.net, which I find helpful if you have kids, mine are picky, so knowing what a restaurant has to offer before going is a huge plus. We also love The Wave @ The Contemporary and both 'Ohanas and Kona @ The Polynesian. - DizneyGirl  529.8 #9 9:35AM

We stayed at the Boardwalk for our honeymoon. It is by far our favorite resort. It's a great resort if you do not have kids. It's quiet and the attention the staff gives you is amazing. You can walk to both Epcot and HS and always find things to do. We stayed in a concierge garden suite, which was like a town house. Truly worth every penny for a romantic getaway.

Epcot is my favorite park. It's also the most exhausting, we do the most walking there. There are so many places to eat here that it's hard to choose one, but Garden Grill is at the top of the list! Kids can enjoy the kidcot spots, so make sure to do those with your kiddos. I also think Illuminations is the best fireworks show. We have never stayed at any of these resorts, but love visiting the Boardwalk, which has some great entertainment and several restaurants to enjoy. Beach Club is another resort to enjoy and we love to eat at Cape May Cafe! - DizneyGirl  529.8 #9 8:15AM
Now you're talking! :) I LOVE Epcot!!! First off it just has that 80's feel to me which brings me back to my teenage years! We love every ride there! I think my favorite is Soarin! We have ridden it many times at DCA and would miss it if it wasn't included at WDW! Test track is a BLAST! My little one loves spaceship earth, nemo and the Mexico ride! I cannot say enough about the world showcase!!! I could just get lost in there!!! The buildings are beautiful, food is GREAT! Teppan edo in Japan is to die for! And the SHOPPING!!! :) I didn't realize how many meet and greets there were with princesses there! We saw belle, jasmine and Aladdin and sleeping beauty. It's just a beautiful laid back park with lots of room to move :) I could go on all day! As far as resorts 2 of our 3 trips this year we stayed at pop. Our first trip was my first time to be there in more than 10 yrs. (we usually go to DL) I was AMAZED at how clean and fun the grounds are! So much to do just walking around the resort! States in the 90's and then 50's. 90's was very close to the bus! There is a beautiful lake between pop and AOA that has a great jogging trail for a quick run! The only thing to be aware of is they have double beds! I would stay there every time! We loved it! I better stop because I could go on all day abt pop too! Obviously some of my favorites! - brittandkell  338.0 #593 9:24AM
Good morning! Epcot is one of my favorites, there just is so much to see and so there. There isn't a ride there I don't like but top of the list would be test track and soaring. Have to make a stop at Club Cool before we head to the country's and try the Beverly! Every country is a venue in itself and they all have a coloring post that the kids can take part in. We always take part in the flag retreat at the American pavilion and sometimes there are concerts there. There are shows at china, Italy, England(concert by british invasion)and Canada(concert by off kilter). See them all. Eating and drinking around the countries one of our favorite things to do. Some of our favorites are the garden grill character dinning, coral reef ocean atmosphere , biergarten fun German buffet, Canada steak house. For quick service beer and brat at Germany, the American pavilion, and England fish and chips. Stay for the fire works show! Illuminations--AMAZING!!!!!! Now sometimes we will take the walkway from Epcot to the boardwalk and have dinner at the ESPN club. It's a great break in the day, the boys get a chance to catch a little of there favorite team playing or the race and then we head back. We have also rented the surry bikes there and ride around the boardwalk, that's always fun also. There are also a few other resturaunts there that we haven't tried along with some little shops. Haven't stayed at any of the hotels over that way but they look beautiful. We have stayed at all of the valu hotels except AOA. The kids love them. They are decked out with larger than life iconic themes, have fun pools, (no slides) game rooms, and food courts. Our favorite by far is pop century it is very cute, has a walking running trail, own bus stop, and a bridge that goes to AOA which we visited and looks amazing! Happy planning everyone! - mmddgp  356.2 #18 9:41AM
