I've been planning a trip to wdw for my 30th bday in June. I've been slowly putting everything together. However, due to family events beyond my control, I found out yesterday that I will have to cancel my plans. I'm very bummed. At the very least, I will go to Disneyland for a day or two. One of these years I will finally make it to wdw and visit all the parks.

I'm planning a trip for next June. It's going to be for my 30th bday and I need planning help. To help people save money on the trip, I thought it would be nice to give them gifts that would help them on the trip or would be useful on the trip. I need ideas. The gifts would be for their birthday and Christmas. What would you recommend?
I'll have more questions as the months go by.
Every time our family plans for a Disney Vacation we give Disney Gift Cards to each other for birthdays. They can be used on just about everything in the parks. (I stock up on them for myself, too. That way I have money "saved" for Disney spending only and no one can sneak any of it to use on other things.) - PixieDust76

I was leaning towards gift cards but I'm the type who likes to give a phsyical gift too. I'm leaning towards a gift card and a few small items to go with it that they will use on the trip. - Fanatix

It's the little things that's needed. Memory cards, batteries, hand sanitizer, sun block, chap stick, the little fan that sprays water, (it's HOT!) autograph book for any kids, lots of snacks and bottled water if no dining plan, (food gets pricey) good walking shoes, sunglasses, cool Disney shirts, (merchandise/clothing is also pricey in the parks) ponchos, (Florida rain is unpredictable and POURS!) small bags/pouches to carry needed items in the parks. - PixieDust76

First day on the new job. I bought this for my desk. I love it and it works for my job as a human resource director.
Great news! My wife said that I could plan a trip for my 30th bday. We agreed that we would stay at a resort hotel. We've never stayed on property before. What hotel would you recommend? I will have my 2 year old daughter with us. Family might come along too which mean I might need a family suite.
That is great news! I'm also going for my 30th birthday. Well I don't know when you plan on going but if your looking gor a suite in the value price range the anamation resort is opening. You can see pics on Disneys website. It looks amazing. Different parts have different themes. Little mermaid, lion king, cars, and finding nemo. I can't wait to stay there!! - Schramke

I couldn't post many pics at the park. I was either having to much fun or my battery was getting really low. Expect a slow stream of photos over the ext few days. Today is the last day and we're going to epcot. Never been and I'm looking forward to it. Btw has anyone thought about adding a hidden Mickey section to the main page we're users could input hidden Mickey locations?

It's my daughter looking out the window at the Disney resort. We spent the day with my grandparents and are spending the day with them tomorrow. Then we get to spend two days at Disney world.

We weren't planning on getting park hopper tickets. It will be four adults and one 17 month old child. I think we are leaning towards mk and epcot. I also just found out that we got free tickets to Disney quest. So, we really probably won't spend additional for park hoppers. - Fanatix
