I don't like the avitar idea and love marvel but WDW and universal are two different parks. I want people that believe in fairies at WDW not the people that are out grown it and want booze and fast rides! When I wanted to party I would go to universal with my sister and friends and we would hit city walk then do some rides. I am not saying that's bad but I didn't have kids and would never do that at WDW to me I kept it child like and magic. That's what I love about it. So that makes me think is this going to mix a much different crowed of people? So I would rather have rip off of dances with wolves avatar then spoiling the parks with party animals. - cheekymouse

Never saw Avitar and don't want to. I think it is a horrible addition and idea. It would be better suited for somewhere like Universal. If they wanted to expand I wish it would be more Disney magic. - DisneyLisa78

I don't remember but I like free emhs better than paying but it wud b nice for less crowds but still... the Halloween and Xmas parties r $55-65 per person. I didn't rly find emhs at night to b very crowded. But if u check lines for emh mornings, that park has lines over an hr while other parks r almost empty. I guess it'd depend on the cost!
It's just sometimes I feel that with the EMH that it can be just as crowded if not more do than during the day. It gets very insane. I think that maybe they should have the option of the e-ride nights to give other ppl that choice of a less crowded experience. They seemed to be doing well with it actually - mickeynme

E-rides nights were the best!! My son and I did it back in probably 03 or 04. The extra cost of the ticket was sooo cheap and we had the park to ourselves. I remember riding thunder mountain 4 times in a row without getting off to get back in line!!! 😃 - toogrumpy

I remember E-ride nights! They had it during my first stay on property. I only made it on SM 3x in a row before I got too dizzy. Great price for a lot of extra magic! - DisneyPhotoFan

Also,planning doesnt usually work w/us because very little of what we actually plan works out the way it's supposed to. I remember it was EXTREMELY hot & VERY crowded one night for wishes. Ppl were literally on the lawns by the castle,that's how bad it was. I had my heart set on seeing wishes, but since I saw it before,I decided that it was better for us all to leave. The insanity just wasn't worth it. We ditched our plans,hopped on the monorail &had a nice little meal at kona's at the Polynesian. Well worth changing up our plans for the sake of our health and sanity. Sry for rambling all! Just wanted to share! I get excited about my Disney memories..sry:( lol - mickeynme

I try not to get caught up in the stress of the moments like that one, when it's late and everyone is tired, kids are cranky and everyone seems to have lost their Disney spirit...it's every man for themselves at that point, haha!! After much deliberation, I decided to take everyone's advice and NOT park hop. We'll stay all day at HS on 12/2, and all day at MK on 12/3. BONUS: Got a ressie for the Fantasmic Package on 12/2 (they had no availability on 12/3)!! Thanks for all your advice, it helped a ton!! :) - mrsincredible

Actually its been a nice summer so far I live right near the beach and we always have a cool breeze in the evenings and its only been muggy in the mornings ..so I'm thankful to that .. I used to live in cal so I know what u mean about the weather ...but if I had to choose coasts I prefer the west .

Main Street is definitely overlooked and I'm so happy to have met someone else who adores the Bakery like I do! While it isn't necessarily an attraction, it's really a shame that so many overlook the little things put into the park (or any park for that matter) especially the architectural design. Did you know that the bricks get smaller as you go up the castle and go down Main Street towards the castle so that through forced perspective, the castle looks taller and the walk down Main Street looks longer in the morning and shorter as you leave, tired, at the end of the day?
