Sorry to put a damper on the party, it's the same ride, just different senerary and an activity in the line that doesn't work too well, you load "your car" and then it doesn't appear when they say this is how it compares, it's just disappointing too have stood in line for and hour and a half, 30 min. Of which it was actually broken, because they didn't get a powerful enough computer to run all of the "cars" you build out.

This year it is on saturday dec. 1... And i reccomend not going lol. You dont even enter through the main park etrance they take you around the back ways because all of the chaos.. Plus you need to be wearing a special bracelete to even be in the vicinity of mainstreet ... I dont know i just know i wanna be on vacation and not around major choas!! Lol - Boardwalkgirl

Love the Christmas party! I know definatley you can get in by 4 with your ticket for the party but it could be sooner. They will have stations set up where you will show your ticket for a wrist band and you will get a schedule of events for the party. See and do them all they are really good and don't for get the coca and cookies they are free. Have a magical time. - mmddgp

That's awesome ,I'm so not the mwer to give planning advice lol but we usually wait till a month or so before we always use sw too the airports only a few mins away and we always get the early bird boarding so we don't have to worry about the 24 hr check in so worth the extra $20 we just check till we see the best price or before we start running out of time:) - tracsant

We did it, but packing in the middle was a hassle and to have to go through the check in Process again and then you have to go and get the park tickets transferred from your original room key onto the second room key. But if it's your only chance to try multiple hotels the bell service does make it convienent, they picked up everything including our waters, snacks, etc.
We do this every time,we like so many different ones and like to try them all out sometimes it's a bit much but if you tell bell services they will transfer you luggage for you and it's a great way to get a feel of resorts you like or not:) - tracsant

I think that's a great idea! It'll give you the opportunity to experience everything that both resorts have to offer! However, when staying at any Disney resort, you can go to any other resort and still experience everything there is to offer without having to change the resort that you are staying at. :) - dlmickeymouseCM

And as much as I love Disney... If you're going to California go to Legoland, so cool for kids!! I know there's a new one in FL, but go to the original with the aquarium, super fun.

We drive most places because it's usually cheaper. We are a family of five also. The farthest we have drove is Colorado which is 24 hours for us. We always stop halfway and sleep but that takes away time from your vacation! We love to fly,it just so expensive these days. - BodinFabFive

Go to any PhotoPass photographer and ask for a "Magic Shot". The service is free, but they give you a card so you can view the photos online to either order or download for a reasonable cost. - dlmickeymouseCM

I had no idea about photo pass +! I'm going to see if I can order before we leave. I lost my camera on my last vacation to Thailand so it's worth it to me not to have to worry about my camera. I've been reading more tips and tricks about it keeping track of my card and its number so I think it's perfect for us. Especially because everyone gets to be in the picture then. Photo pass now also has photo pass plus, it's a little spending, but you get all of your shots that they take, including "magic shots" PLUS, every ride photo!!! You have to prepay, and kind of make a commitment to yourself to take full advantage of the photographers!! It's $200, I know crazy, but at the end of the trip we had 250 photos and then you go on and edit and add boarders, we had over 400 by the time I was done plus they give you a CD of lots of generic Disney photos that you might never have otherwise. Oh and if you do character breakfast it includes all o those photos too. This also makes sure that your whole family is in all the photos!! Which is really awesome for us, we get tired of always having to ask people to take our photo, we always offer to people because we know they probably feel like we do.
