Some recent Flower and Garden food pics. Top is Frushi (fruit sushi) very bland and would not get it again but wanted to try it. Bottom pic, sweet potato waffle with dole whip on top, very good and I don't even like sweet potatoes! The drink is a violet lemonade slush, it was also very good.
While riding the People Mover on Monday night we got to see Space Mtn with the lights on for the first time.
A hungry, hungry hippo :)
Elephants from my afternoon safari
Where in WDW can you find this?
We tried the strawberry shortcake cake cup today at Cheshire cafe in MK, pretty good! It's yellow cake with strawberry filling and strawberry frosting.
The new parade was great, I will post a few more pics!
Live from MK, waiting for the new parade!
Happy Friday, I hope you guys have a great day!!
From the Florida food booth at Flower and Garden: Beer Flight, watermelon salad, and shrimp and grits, all very good!

Mine Train progress from today, doesn't look much different then it did a few weeks ago and no one was working today. Can't wait for it to open!
We were sporting our Oswald inspired outfits today at MK! 80 and sunny all day, loving it :)
Good morning and happy Friday! We are making our first trip to Universal this weekend to activate our APs and would love to know any tips you may have (we have never been here in Orlando). Shows to see, rides to avoid if you're not into motion sickness, food and snacks that are not to be missed, anything is helpful! It feels so weird not knowing anything about the park, I guess like being a Disney first timer :) And please don't tell Mickey about this, I promise Disney will still be my favorite! Thanks!
Food review of Kona Cafe at the Polynesian resort: We had breakfast here a few weeks ago as we are trying to visit different restaurants on property, instead of just going back to our favorites. Waited about 30 mins with a reservation and service wasn't anything special. I had the macadamia pineapple pancakes and my husband had the big kahuna which was a breakfast platter. Both were just ok, nothing that would make us want to go back to Kona again. It is fairly cheap for a Disney table service, about $24 before tip for two adult meals, which was more food than we both could eat.
One more from the safari today, both lions were out which I've only seen one other time!
