Disney to me is an escape from the everyday events and problems of the everyday world. what does disney mean to you???
I would agree with you. Disney helps me to forget about my problems in the real world. I feel free to dream up and imagine anything while at WDW or even just popping in a Disney movie. It helps me take stresses away and stay sane because after watching a Disney movie or going to WDW I look at my problems in a whole new light! - Jazdaz88

Agree. Disney reminds me of what we can do if we put our minds to it. I am always amazed and inspired when I visit Disney. - jacdanfan

You have just been appointed to be the ceo of wdw for 1 year what would you change and what would you love to improve?????
CM raise, all new break rooms, benefits increase, 5 years to get your silver main gate (Spouse can use it even if the CM holder isn't present), 25% silver discount after 10 years (CMs lose all discounts when they leave the company, this would ensure a constant discount for their service). Remove Meg Crofton and Phil Holmes from any leadership role. If an attraction has more than 2 "major" show issues, the ride is closed until it is fixed. No "management discretion" no "we can't fix it until the ride is closed for the night" ok, well if you cant fix it till then, the ride will remained closed until you fix it. New, quality parades for all the parks (no rehashing of old parades with new names). Listening to the people: If an outcry begins because of the closure of an attraction (Toad for example), if it is Very High, the New attraction will have to find a new place or not be built at all. Finally (for now) FREE DOLE WHIP on the first of every month at MK. - IndyandMarion

Honestly I would love to make the rides in Fantasyland longer. Especially Peter Pan! I would also have PUSH out in other places not just TL. Oh more places to eat cause you can never go wrong with food...and most importantly, I would increase CM pay and benefits and make sure they all get performance bonuses!!! Yeah that's what I would do. Good question*+.*+.*+. - CinderellaPrincess85

Stupid Anaheim building codes at the time. I wonder how big they would have built it if they didn't have the height restriction. - DaisyCrazy

Great question cheeky but i think is because she never had a castle but todays world would say and female's house is their castle - puddy77

Potc at Disneyland in my opinion is better then at Disney world and it's longer at dl
Tot is longer at wdw the DL, btm is longer at DL, small world is inside at wdw
The castle at wdw is bigger and so is the monorail
When you go don't try to compare things to DL some things are better there and some things are better at wdw - nodell111

The dining plan is worth it if you want to do a sit down meal everyday. For our family of 3, (1 child) we spent at least $80 per sit down meal. We couldn't have eaten that way without the dining plan. - Cydsmom

Question time? If you stay at wdw hotels and you want to go to universal, seaworld, and other sites what is the transport options and how does it work ????
I went to Universal and stayed on Disney property. We had called a Cab/ van service that picks u up and drops u off!! Don't remember the name. But there are many! Ask the resort where u are staying for the info. - MommyMouseof2

Need some info about the dolphin resort because on the net its not registered as a disney resort and anything you can share about this place would be good. thank you
If you go to disneyworld.Disney.go.com/resorts you will be able to find it. I believe that it is an "Epcot" resort. Located right next to the Boardwalk =) - CinderellaPrincess85

If you were the CEO of disneyworld what would you add or change. My thought I would link the monorail to all Disney hotels
PAY THE CASTMEMBERS MORE!!!! I just found out how little Disney pays their people and wasn't happy. The CASTMEMBERS are the backbone of the company and when over half of them are eligible for welfare that is sad. Especially when let's just say one park EPCOT brings in probably 15 mil a day (sorry hit a nerve) - toogrumpy
101.5 #48 6:28AM
@toogrumpy I would have to agree with you 100%. The CMs are the people who make the dreams come alive. They work so hard and it is ashame that they are not better taken care of. - Jazdaz88

Our cleaning lady told my mom no one in wdw makes more than $15 an hour and some only $5/hr so I agree there. Also I'd like to change I'd do away with paying extra for park Hopper pass!! - Polynesiangirl

Consider this. From 05/15/2003-07/31/2010 I went from 6.35 to 8.75. So yes, the rate of pay is horrible for what CMs do/did. - IndyandMarion

I've stayedvat Music a few times and Movies once. I loved Music and hated Movies. The one time I stayed at Movies my room was dirty and there were bugs in the bathroom (eww!). The sheets on the bed were dirty and stained. I got another room but it was almost as dingy as the first. I wont stay there again but that was just my experience. Others have had great experiences there. Music was a lot brighter & "happier" to me. Pop Century is also a Value resort. That one is my overall fave. - Tinkerbell1265

What hotel would you recommend for two adults and a 4 year old and why. We are not made of money but quite ok. Your thoughts and knowledge would be very helpful
Cute pic! When we go we don't have the money to stay at a moderate or deluxe resort. So we stay at a value. It's great we still get all the benefits of staying on property. We love pop century is very colorful and everything is larger then life. Your 4 yr old will love it as well as you guys. Or depending on when your going Disney will be opening the animation resort that is also a value. I can't wait to check it out. They have different themes. Little mermaid, lion king, nemo, and cars. Just something to look into. Hope it helped a little. Happy planing! - Schramke

All Star Movies is awesome with a lot if recognizable characters. I would suggest a priority room which is closer to the front. We stayed in the Toy Story area. My then 5 year old son LOVED IT!!!! We have also done the Pop Century and love it too. As a kids from the 70's and 80's. I loved showing all the cool things to my kids :). Also the variety and convenience of the food court is wonderful!! - mzdisnee

Pop Century for value, Caribbean for moderate. Pop is fun and colorful and they play games at the pool and lobby. Caribbean has a great pool with slides and a fun pirate ship. - PixieDust76

In the AM EMH you show your room key to enter the park and your ticket. At PM EMH you show your room key before you enter each ride. Online will show a schedule of park hours and it will specify EMH. - Andrea84

Our holiday plans are for late august early sep 2012 and was wondering what we will expect in temps, crowds and ride maintaince
We are usually still hot and humid..unless we get a storm.. - justGoofin

We just went 8/28 to 9/3. It wasn't as crowded as I expected, the longest wait I remember seeing was about 45 minutes for space mountain, which I guess wasn't that bad, just get a fast pass. We pretty much walked on most rides. It only rained on us 3 times, the 1st was only for about 10 mins, the longest being 25. lots of humidity but we adjusted fairly well about the 2nd day. Just remember to drink lots of water and don't push yourself too hard! - savanna

We were there the same time and I agree the waits were minimal not crowded at all it was great alittle hot but bearable, we just set our dates for next year the same time, the last week in august and the first week in September - Yoho11
