At Webelos Adventure Camp, Henson Scout Reservation, Delmarva Peninsula, near Sharptown, Maryland. A couple of the camp counselors were sporting these WDW patches.

Some Disney Treasures I found tucked away in an old desk drawer as I was cleaning out my father's apartment. The Mickey Mouse pocket watch is indeed my favorite. Gotta go out and get a watch-bob for it.

Here was my verdict on Disneyland..... first of all thanks for everyones comments and advice not to compare DL to WDW. I grew up in my early childhood in CA and had been to DL many times. In 97 I visited again. Yesterday, my wife and I decided to focus on rides and attractions that were not at WDW. After completing those we went back and rode rides found at both parks. I must say the Star Tours upgrade was AWESOME! We had a great time but were missing our kids. I think that was a big part of the "missing magic." All in all it was a great distraction from settling my fathers estate. Indiana Jones ride was fantastic. Pirates - I like DL's better than WDW. How do you like the Wookie Hat from Star Tours?

We haven't been to DL yet, but I want to go, maybe next year when my youngest turns 2. 1970 - my first visit to Disneyland. That's me and my Dad. An unexpected emergency in California looks like it will open the door for a stop at the Happiest Place on Earth. The last time I was at Disneyland was in 1997. I never expected to be going back - especially being on the East Coast. Cars Land...Here I Come.

I have mixed emotions about this because I love Disney I also grew up a huge comic book fan and I read A LOT of marvel comics. If Disney can produce marvel movies like they do Disney movies I will be some what pleased as long as they don't deter too far from the story line of that superhero. I do agree it doesn't seem Disney to me.I mean I can see the pros and cons to this something that worries me tho is did Disney put money into a dying thing? How much longer can these marvel movies keep up. There is only so far u can go with these storylines before they get ridiculous..imo - BBNMickey

Here's the verdict on SPIDER-MAN...totally awesome. Minimal language, no inappropriate material, FAMILY FRIENDLY. So true the comic books. It put the first three to shame. TOBY MCGUIRE is NOT Spiderman anymore. I know Disney bought MARVEL comics, but SONY Pictures must have retained rights to make Spiderman movies. Does anyone know for sure?
