We went when my sons were 2 and 3 and my son got chicken pox when we were there!
When I was little we would drive down to WDW with another family down the street and I got chicken pox on the way there. Noone would go near me and I wasn't allowed in the pools. It was sad! - disneychk

I haven't had to many bad experiences but the ones I have had to do with my little sister getting sick, when she was younger almost every trip we took to Disney she got sick. The worst time was when she threw up at the fountain in the San angle inn at Epcot, the cast members there were not very happy about it, she also got sick there again a few years later but thankfully don't vomit that time, it was not a very good experience and ruined our dinner reservations the first time, the second time me my dad and grandma stayed while my mom took my two sisters back to the hotel - nodell111

Family wise, there has been some horrible arguments at different times. At my last trip in August, I was in tears for hours. Airport wise, again last August, my mom's luggage ended up in Russia for four days. She was so stressed and I felt so sorry for her. Disney wise, again last August, our room at the GF got major flooded and we woke up to CMs pounding our door at 5:00a.m. to evacuate. We were so tired and stressed from all the craziness and having to haul all our stuff to our new DOWNGRADED room, (originally had a park view) that we had to cancel all our reservations and avoid the parks to rest and catch up on sleep. NOT cool! (Not to mention that they not once left anything magical to acknowledge our celebrations.) Deluxe?! - PixieDust76

Oh my goodness...I hate hearing things like this. They will be in my prayers. There is a good quote I heard in a movie, "Don't focus on the time you didn't have, but rather the memories you created in the time you did have." In time it will bring comfort. I pray peace for this family and for someone to give them the right words at the right time. I am so so sorry to hear this. Its better to buy one of their umbrella strollers, if you are there for more than 50 dollars and that's the cost of rental for 4 days. Learned that one at the school of hard knocks last week. Also if your child is over 40 Lbs get the umbrella for sure - TinkeringHalo

at downtown disney they have a crystal shop and they sell glass slippers. there are 3 different sizes I believe the smallest 1 was around 30 dollars. they will engrave it for you to say MARRY ME or your girlfriends name or something. When u propose, put the ring in the glass slipper. I did that last year and it was magical. it adds magic to an already magical moment. congratulations and have fun!!! - thedisneymon

I would propose to her on the plane, maybe with the help of the crew and of course if you are flying. She won't be expecting it since your plans got let out of the bag.
