You can get some nice shots from on the boat at the dock, however right at the end of the ride, you get nice and tight with the Mansion. Fire away! - IndyandMarion

I am not much for roller coasters but Exedition Everest is not bad.
My vote January! I personally hate Oct. at WDW too dang hot and humid.

We just got back and the weather was PERFECT!! High 70's- low 80's, not humid. It felt like the weather here at home (San Diego). I would definitely plan another January trip. - nerdgirl

We did Oct once and it was hot and humid, but I like the Halloween decorations! Still we just got back and January weather was perfect! Light breeze low 80s or 70s! Perfect weather! Nice to escape while it's so cold up north! - DisneyLisa78

Middle of Main Street there is a bridge before the partners circle. Get there early for that particular spot, an hour to 45 mins. Last week we were on the sidewalk in that area, had to Struggle to stay in taped area as people get territorial, Pictures were/are awesome, I will post later today. There is also a new show on the castle before the fireworks, don't miss it.

Hello fellow DL mousewaiter!! I hadn't been to WDW in 15 years until I took my daughter to be in the Disney College program a few weeks ago. We are AP's at DL! WDW is beautiful and you will love it! It's different but that's what makes it fun. I would suggest being at MK just before it opens for the welcome show!!! It's so fun!! We got there about 30 mins before the park opened and had a good spot to see it! :) you watch just right past the entry gates! Also...take the boat to Wilderness Lodge and eat a meal at the Whispering Canyon Cafe!! We laughed until we cried!! Have a great trip! I can't wait to go back in 9 days!! - brittandkell

As you get just past the buildings, keep an eye on the slight incline you'll see on the ground. There's the best place to video tape it inside the park. - IndyandMarion

Bummer, Indy. I had the exact same thing happen to me a year ago only it crashed into my hood first and made a huge dent - then it hit my windshield. My deductible was too high to help. Glad she wasn't hurt - it's very startling to say the least! - goofygal

Citricos at Grand Floridian is very spendy and romantic. Tony's town square at mk is cute from lady and tramp much less casual than GF. Then there is chefs de France at Epcot. I like chefs, never been to Citricos and personally do not care for Tonys. Hope this helps

WDW with our daughter was amazing, pretty sure we won't ever top that birthday.haha We got married in November honeymoon was in February, and we got surprised two weeks before trip...found out I was pregnant with daughter. And I totally understand not wanting to go in July I went in July and it was hot and we live on Texas coast. Lol. - txdisneymomma

AOA is kinda pricy... Check to see if there are any deals.. We always get the 30 percent off savings... Value resorts are great / tons if kids but get it Disney... Port Orleans riverside is really cool for couples! So pretty and fairly quiet! We stayed there! But... Again it's Disney - I'd stay in a trash can if it meant I was going!!! We do plan to stay at AOA suites if we can get a discount next time!! - timon

I was a dlander most of my life but moved to mid-west and became hooked on WDW. It made the first trip back to dland feel like it was miniature. Besides the immense size of WDW and 4 parks, be prepared for the differences Haunted Mansion is Brick and pirates is not the same, I miss not having the blue buyou at WDW. Embrace WDW don't spend your time comparing. Restaurants you may consider Be our Guest for Lunch be there before it opens at 10:30(we got in line at 10:15 and were probably 120 back), Boma at Animal Kingdom has different but good food, Chef Mickeys at Contemporaty is wild and crazy fun. Beaches and Cream at Beach Club is a fun soda fountain feel. Have Fun

2 days!!!! This is our lazy trip, meeting with old and new friends(Indy). Our kids are adults so we are not over planning and running constantly. In fact only 1 ADR. Going to Wide World of Sports to see North Dakota State University compete in Nationals for dance line - daughters friend is on team.
Without setting myself up to be slapped by you all. Possibly monday for a meet up with MsDiz and her gang (With marion). And the 22nd of Jan/Apr for sure (for our birthdays), Some time in November (to DL) for our 1 year anniversary. We've even mentioned Paris in 2015. - IndyandMarion
