Hi everyone. Hope all are well. What a destructive week. Just wanted to let everyone know we got an email from Tracy/Tracsant and she and Jay are all right. It's really a mess, loss of power, etc. She wanted everyone to know she misses them and she hopes everyone is okay (isn't that just like her)! We hope everyone is doing all right on the east coast and things are getting back to normal. We got a surprise Disney mail/pkg yesterday, from our neighbor! Delivered to the wrong house! Will post later this weekend, but thank you very much, beautiful pins.

Well, it's been a tough week. We're heading to Palm Springs in a couple of hours to celebrate the life of a family member, my brother-in-law. I'm having trouble finding the words, but he will be greatly missed. He was a retired Palm Springs Police Officer. Had the best sense of humor. I first met him when disembarking from the plane in Palm Springs as I returned from Vietnam (1970). My love, respect, and appreciation to TR and all who serve.

Live. Hard to believe but the Endeavour is still enroute to the California Science Center. The route is 12 miles. It left LAX Thursday night! Good morning and have a great Sunday.

Good morning! This pic is for Tom. We're sending our limo over to pick you up, see pic. Get well now! Live. The Space Shuttle is being transported thru LA at 2 mph to the California Science Center. Left LAX late last night and will arrive Sat. night at CSC. Trees and light poles had to be removed on the route. All trees will be replaced. Have a great weekend everyone.

Once Upon a Time starts tonight! When we were at Comic-Con in July, Goofygal got a unique opportunity to meet most of the cast of the show. Got a poster signed by all and got to talk to all of them individually. It was a real wow experience! I didn't get to go with her into the room (sad face) but she was thrilled.

Took a canoe trip down the Rivers of America at DL a while ago. First time, lots of fun. The settlers on the riverbank gawked with amusement.

Good morning! Soooo tired and sore. Matt and Nancy were awesome. Both finished and medaled. My legs cramped up at mile 10 and had to slow down. Fell behind pace and was swept, so bummed. Learned a lot yesterday of the strategy of half marathons. If we ever do another one will be better prepared and in better shape. Nancy and Matt were able to complete the race with virtually no training. And I'm sure Goofygal did it my sure will power. I am so proud of her. The race was so much fun, lots of characters and things to see. One pix is backside of Cars Land. Other pic there was Woody on a woody car. Had a mile of vintage cars to run thru. Also ran thru Angel Stadium, so cool. They had mile markers and we stopped to take pic at each one. Hope everyone enjoying their weekend!
This was quite the experience! I have no idea how I managed to finish. Sheer willpower. The pace people would catch up to me, so I had to run a minute, walk four to stay ahead. My official time was 3:36:48. Could hardly walk the rest of the day. I'm amazed I actually feel better today, but still sore legs. Climbers scaling the Matterhorn a while ago. Absolutely gorgeous day. Saw many runners this morning finishing the 5k. Really busy here. Hope all having a great weekend. BTW there are 4 climbers!
