Well, we really had an interesting day yesterday. With a great big exclamation point! There was a merchandising event at DCA with John Lasseter and Chip Foose. We had planned to check it out, but didn't think we'd stay because we expected a long line. We went to the store hosting the event (Off the Page) and decided to go for it. Unlike similar events, they pre-sold the items and you came back later to get them signed. We bought a 300 limited edition Cars Land 'Lassetire' and 2 Chip Foose designed shirts, and were told to come back at 1pm to get in line. Well, almost 4 hours later we finally met them, got our items signed, and cast members took photos. They were both so gracious, warm, and friendly. Our hearts melted, an incredible moment for the two of us! We then decided to go to the Trattoria for a break. We thought we'd post the photo in both Lounges. When Nancy posted our photo in the DL Lounge, it took 15-20 minutes to post, so she didn't even try on the WDW side, will post later today, tho. I don't think the local cell towers can handle the Disney phone traffic. Literally everyone you see in the park has a phone in one hand. Nancy's battery went down 50% in a little over an hour trying to post some wait times and photos. While we were there, we met a really nice couple from Moreno Valley, Nancy took them both in under her wing and convinced them to become MouseWaiters. All in all a fabulous, memorable day. In other news… Hendizl (Henry), we will be posting a special RAK for you today, hope you see it and DM us your address. Henry has a big heart and wanted to do something special for a friend. There was a very cool RAK on the DL side this week and Nancy and I both entered for him. None of us won but Nancy had the same item and she's going to give it to him. In other developments… Nancy and I will be doing some holiday RAKs. We encourage everyone to enter and have fun with it. There will be rules so please may attention and mind your manners (pretend you're at the 50s Prime Time Diner, and if you are into the Amazing Race or Survivor, know this - there may be twists and turns and unexpected events). Good morning, we're off to Disneyland today. It's a major pixie dust expedition! We got Mouse Mail from Caryn and Hugo this week. OMG! Thank you both for the kindness, will post pics tomorrow. And Caryn, we'll absolutely do the favor you asked, that is so sweet of you! We're hoping to get a decent holiday photo done today for Christmas cards. Weather has been bad for a couple of weeks, may have to recycle old cards, lol! Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi everyone. Hope all are well. What a destructive week. Just wanted to let everyone know we got an email from Tracy/Tracsant and she and Jay are all right. It's really a mess, loss of power, etc. She wanted everyone to know she misses them and she hopes everyone is okay (isn't that just like her)! We hope everyone is doing all right on the east coast and things are getting back to normal. We got a surprise Disney mail/pkg yesterday, from our neighbor! Delivered to the wrong house! Will post later this weekend, but thank you very much, beautiful pins.

Well, it's been a tough week. We're heading to Palm Springs in a couple of hours to celebrate the life of a family member, my brother-in-law. I'm having trouble finding the words, but he will be greatly missed. He was a retired Palm Springs Police Officer. Had the best sense of humor. I first met him when disembarking from the plane in Palm Springs as I returned from Vietnam (1970). My love, respect, and appreciation to TR and all who serve.
