RAK Update: 9 packages have been mailed. Ariel42, we mailed your package last Monday (12/17). Hendizl, Otilegna, and Tinkerbell1265, your packages were mailed Thursday (12/20), hope you get it before Christmas. mrsincredible, disneycm, yessy, ally, and CDKG your packages were sent Friday (12/21). Unfortunately you won't receive them by Christmas. When I went to the P.O. on Friday my friend Cindy did not hear my mailing instructions and she did postage for 3 days instead of 2. She said she was sorry but could not change it, I just smiled and offered her a Bev. I hope everyone gets their package in a reasonable amount of time, know it's the busy season. I am still packaging items and will mail more on Wednesday (12/26). We will announce winners for the second series of RAKs (total of 6) either tonight or Christmas morning. Indy won RAK 11 and Lelundrial won RAK 12 so there are 4 more winners to announce. All RAKs are now officially closed. Also, we've gotten some pixie dust in the mail that was wrapped and is now under our tree, want to thank those responsible in advance and will also thank them later. Hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to enjoy some time off. Those of you that have to work this holiday season we thank you. We know how hard it is to be away from family at this time. Good morning. Can't stay long, busy day. Just had to post this. Photo is from last Sunday at our local Disney store. They had 3 Disco Goofys. The middle one looked like he had a really rough night, he got left behind!

And the winner of a special RAK for achieving the most points is: justGoofin, way to go! Now for some more fun. That was some magical shape I drew as it touched almost 20 dots. Every RAK had more than one winner! But we don't have duplicates for every RAK so we will substitute, you may be happier! We will be mailing many RAKs this week. Only the 7 above know for sure they have won. All the others will be a surprise so keep a look out. On Christmas Eve we will announce the winners of the second set of 5 RAKs, good luck to all.

My MouseWait RAK Story - Part 1. Once Upon A Time. Good news, we are ready to announce the winners, but first . . . I think a brief explanation of what we were attempting would be fun. The Rules. Only enter for yourself and mind your manners. And we encouraged all to enter every RAK. I developed a point system based on the rules. Everyone did really well and scored lots of points, but one person did end up with the most points. On Sunday I created a RAK Matrix (table with rows and columns) for each person who entered a RAK incorporating all the data from all 7 RAKs. We awarded one RAK to a MWer on DL (RAK 3), Tinkerbell1265 was the outright winner of RAK 6, and the person (to be named) who got the most points won a RAK. So that left four more winners to choose. Anyway, back to the point system. There was an overwhelming response to the RAKs and lots of points earned. I was going to write each person's name on a piece of paper for every point they earned and put into the hat. If you scored 15 points your name went into the hat 15 times (increasing the chance of winning). I came to realize I was going to have a hat with 500 names in it for only 4 RAKs. It was the Nightmare before Christmas. So, last night while laying in bed, staring at the ceiling looking for hidden mickeys I came up with an ingenious way to select the final four. Early this morning I created a shape, a drawing with a 1 pt rule. I overlaid the shape on to the RAK matrix. In the rows and columns of the matrix are dots awarded for each point earned. If the shape I created touched a dot, you won a RAK. Simple, huh? Now for some exciting news. The shape I created touched more than 7 dots! What does that mean? Stay tuned for Part 2. The Results. Will post tonight.

No news is good news, right? I have been working on RAKs since 4am. Winners for all 7 RAKs have been determined. Will announce after work today. I have been working on the winner announcement for over a half hour and I'm not done yet, ran out of time. Have a great day everyone.

RAK Update. Good evening! Christmas cards were mailed today. There are several of you we didn't have addresses for so we're sorry we missed you. For a variety of reasons we aren't prepared to announce RAK winners yet. I went to the PO today and was not able to get all the mailing supplies I need. They were out of almost everything. Will try again tomorrow. We'd rather keep you in suspense then say you won something and then it takes us 2 weeks to mail it. LOL! We will be mailing all that we can this week, tho. In the spirit of Dahulagirl we will continue to RAK some more items this week. Our original intentions were to do the 12 Days of Christmas, we just got a very late start. If you weren't aware of this, Dahulagirl is the mother of the MW RAK. We are happy to announce that three winners have been determined from the first 7 RAKs. As I said, there would be twists and turns. I established an elaborate scoring system for awarding some RAKS. It doesn't deviate from the randomness of winning, it only improved your chance of winning. There was one MWer who had a perfect score! The events of last week and the MW outage yesterday prevented me from doing all the twists and turns I originally hoped to do, trust me, it was going to be fun, maybe next time. One winner's package was mailed today as it is timely.
