At D23 Expo we bought some authentic name badges from Theme Park Connections. One is from the 25th and the other from the 50th anniversaries! Guess a lot of Nancys worked for Disney.
For those who drive to or rent cars at WDW, Theme Park Connection has a store about 20 minutes from the parks (also an eBay store). Lots of unique Disney items.  - Andrea84  701.9 #9 2:34PM
That's very cool - bearlove  131.1 #2946 6:43AM

That is SO cool! I wish so badly that my dad had kept his name tag from 40 years ago - timonT  351.0 #21 2:42PM

Sad story about Disney Dining from The Disney Blog. http://thedisneyblog.com/2015/08/30/are-unscrupulous-scalpers-ruining-the-disney-dining-experience/
This is one reason we have cut back tremendously on our trips to WDW. Though we love it we often can't book far in advance & are left with not our top options most of the time , sorry I'm not going to sit by the phone or computer first thing in the morning & multiple times before my trip & definitely not going to pay anymore for ressies then I already have paid for my trip . This has taken the spontaneity out of vacation which for me is a huge part of going on vacations since everyday life is a schedule & routine . We haven't been able to get a dinner ressie at Ohana in 5 yrs , it's crazy . I do think the system needs a big change , will it happen though , probably not. I do however think Disney needs to do something about these "scalping" companies , it's hard enough to get these ressies . - tracsant  1292.0 #1 8:56AM
Totally agree that the spontaneity has gone.  - rink2  139.4 #58 2:50PM
The Disney Dining Plan ruined Disney dining. It's not fun to book all my dining ressies at the crack of dawn (3 am) for me and my "ghost" party. All my ressies for Nov are for parties of 3 to 5 and I'm only a party of 1! But, my friends and family book last minute. It's easier to decrease my party size than to increase it later. What ever happened to the days when you could walk up, wait a few minutes, and get a table? The Disney Dining Plan ruined Disney dining. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1156.7 #3 8:13PM
