I've heard that Boardwalk side is louder because of the nightlife that can be found there aka piano bar, food and dance club along with the friendship boats to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. View wise however, I'd say Boardwalk is going to be better.

Boardwalk view seems like the best option, I've only been able to get standard and pool views when I've stayed. If Boardwalk view is available I would definitely book that since you would have a great view of everything! - Andrea84  653.1 #8 3:17AM
😬I forgot that I had to book this in 3 pieces since I want to stay at different places. Just booked the first and will have to wake up at 5am in 3 days, then again 3 days later...hopefully I can fall back asleep after at least! THANK YOU - I'm going to book the Boardwalk view, but in 3 days. πŸ˜‰ - MinnieMousewife  769.6 #206 7:49AM

I loved everything about the show. They had so much to offer. They did a skit of two planes and the conversation going on about the Red Baron which was really cool just such a wide range of different planes to see. The one plane we went in was as long as a football field, wide and tall. It was huge, I am amazed at how some of these get off the ground! The whole thing just gave me the goose bumps. - mmddgp  467.2 #15 9:16AM
We wanted to take our boys the the airshow in in martinsburg WV. Its about an hour from us...but it has been canceled the past two yrs due to the economy. ..so sad :( - jamiesli  23.3 #144 9:27AM

My theory is that Woody is a final momento of Andy's dad and explains why he's such an old toy compared to the others yet continued to be Andy's favorite throughout the trilogy.

It was planned from the beginning to not include a father. Now as far as fans go, a good theory is that his father may have died shortly before Molly was born. That's another reason why Andy loved Woody so much. It's because he's that "authority" figure in his life. The "person" to help guide Andy through his early years. - IndyandMarion  1264.0 #1 6:50PM

WDW has a more unique line queue with more references to the series. The elevator actually moves horizontally into the drop shaft as opposed to California's which is a normal rise and drop. Finally. WDW version's drops are random, California's are always the same.

All of my shots (most are on flickr or DL side) are either from the 18-55mm or 55-250mm and I really don't have a need for another lens. I also have a Sigma 10-20mm super wide angle, but that mainly just sits in my bag during trips to the park. I have gotten many very detailed shots at night and on dark attractions (Haunted Mansion, Pirate, etc) from these lenses Feel free to check my profile on t  More...
As Indy would say, a tripod! But getting back to a lense, something with a good range and some kind of anti-shake. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  929.8 #3 10:08AM
I am going to bring my tripod this trip, we'll see if I actually take it in the parks! What lens do you use CDKG? - DizneyGirl  668.0 #7 10:12AM
Diz, you have the Canon right? Tri pod is probably the key. Wish I knew more about it but I'm just learning myself. - JetsamsTwin  379.9 #18 10:24AM
I generally shoot with my 18-105 mm lens. I have a 70-300 mm telephoto lens, but only used it once. I'm guessing you won't need that kind of lens in the parks. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  929.8 #3 10:28AM
@jalex, yes I do - DizneyGirl  668.0 #7 10:51AM
I use the 18-55mm lens and occasionally 55mm-250mm for zoom. The larger lens has image stabilizer. You can use the night shot setting but a tripod is the way to avoid blurring your pics in low light. - JetsamsTwin  379.9 #18 11:17AM
A tripod will help, but it's not needed. You can shoot with a basic night portrait setting and get some pretty decent shots. Jalex will be able to better assist you since he's the Canon guy of the group. - IndyandMarion  1264.0 #1 11:13AM
I have a canon t3 and my general purpose and all around awesome lens I use is my 28-135 lens. It's an awesome walk around lens - Happyplace82  26.9 #130 3:35PM

Do you mind if I ask what you flickr account is? Would love to take a look. - DizneyGirl  668.0 #7 8:40PM
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadowgamer85/ I really need to go through and clear out some of the bad photos I did when I first got into photography. - CM_Shadowgamer  2373.4 #48 8:50PM
As for POTC and mansion shots, I use a 1/20 shutter speed and manual focus. The speed assures there is enough light and is still fast enough not to blur (minus super dark areas) while the manual focus makes it so the camera will take a picture regardless of if it will be bad or not (just focus it to where it's sharp and it won't be an issue). If you try this with autofocus, it will sometimes think the settings are off for the light level and not take the picture, hence the use of manual. - CM_Shadowgamer  2373.4 #48 9:10PM
Thanks for the tip on the manual setting. I'll play around with that so I can take some low light shots hopefully better results next time for me! - JetsamsTwin  379.9 #18 6:19AM
