I really like Mr. Kalogridis. He seems so approachable. Many MWers have had their picture taken with him at DL. A couple of weeks ago he walked right by me at DL. He was all by himself, dressed very casually, looked like any park visitor. So sorry now that I didn't say hi and ask for a pic. Was just so surprised to see him that early on a Saturday morning strolling through the park! If you look at his bio, he started working at WDW in 1971 as a busboy at the Contemporary Hotel! We're so happy for him, but DL will miss him, just glad he's not leaving the team! - jacdanfan

I'm from California also. The first time I went to WDW I made a list of all the attractions WDw has that DL doesn't. I made those my priority. However, still check out their Haunted Mansion and ToT. They're a little different. ToT is a must. WDW is huge and can be overwhelming coming from this side, but making a list made it less overwhelming. Have fun! - Disneyaddict

If you can, try to stay on resort to get the magic hours. We always stayed for magic hours because the lines were much better for the rides. My parens LOVED Epcot and all the countries. They would prob enjoy Le Cellier steakhouse. Pricey but worth it. Another fun experience is Sci-fi Dine in at HS. Great cheesecake! It is set up like a drive in movie lot. You sit in old fashion cars to eat! - Disneyaddict

So awesome! Between my pilot husband and Disney obsession those are perfect! I'll have to remember these for our next trip to WDW - timonT
