This is terrible... in 3 weeks, my family along with my in-laws will be checking in, and picking up a reserved motorized scooter for my MIL who is recovering from knee replacement surgery. We paid to upgrade for a perferred room, which is closer to the buses and dining hall at our resort, mainly to ensure she'd have enough room to pull the scooter inside their room overnight to store. I didn't know at the time that we would also receive a "VIP" pass to the front of all the ride lines and shows. Of course that sounds amazing, who wouldn't want that?! But, what kind of person do you have to be to fake something like that?! I feel guilty even having that kind of luxury this trip, because I am not disabled. I don't expect Disney to put us at the front of all the lines. It's a shame people take advantage. I paid for the upgrades, but for very different reasons. It makes me super sad to see this type of service even exists. I couldn't sleep at night if I was dilerately trying to cheat the system. - mrsincredible

Praying!! Could it be Roseola? Jonah had that... no other symptoms but super high fever for a few days followed by a rash. He was only 3 months old when he got it... scared us to death! Keep us posted. - mrsincredible

There are actually 2 different parks so if you're just going to 1 then I'd say 1 day is enough. Going to both would mean skipping lots of attractions or really powering through from open to close and that's not likely.

You could probably rent a car for one day and have it be cheaper then a cab, I'd look in to it! I have a car reserved for 15 days at 12 dollars a day, total I think is 340 for the entire time. - allieenicolee

I recommend Islands of Adventure park over the Universal park. Universal is just a lot of shopping. IOA has quite a bit and a day was plenty for us - ariel116

The Disney website is helpful to plan your meals, etc. I like having extra time at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can pretty much see/do everything at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom in a full day for each. Don't miss a park, all four are special and unique in their own way. We love them all! Our favs are MK, EP/AK tied for second, and HS third. Definitely take time to check out the deluxe resorts and ride the monorail (you can schedule dining at the other resorts as an excuse to go!) They have so many things to do at Downtown Disney as well as some miniture golf, etc. So much to do, you will not see it all while you're there even with that long of a stay, but you will get to see/do alot!! I have been more than a dozen times and I am still experiencing new things every time we go! Have fun and enjoy the planning process. Read everything you can. For the first time i say 10 days would be perfect. DHS will take about 1-1 and a half days, depending on how much you're interested in doing. AK will take about 2 on your first trip. MK and EPCOT I would reserve for Extra Magic Hour days, even though its hectic, it is well worth it to us! They will each probably take 3 days. That should leave u some relaxation days and DTD time. Google WDW Transportation Wizard and it will give you routes.
As it stands, there is no way to get from any theme parks to DTD. You'll have to take a bus from MK to a hotel to DTD. - IndyandMarion

Unfortunately, no. But you can take the opportunity to resort hop and see the beautiful scenery! If you hop on a bus to POR or POFQ you can ride the boat over to DTD. Such a beautiful resort. - ariel116
