Got an email saying I might qualify for free dining. Well, apparently since I booked my room and tickets separately (but still through Disney) it doesn't count as a "package" and I don't qualify for free dining. I'm not too thrilled about that :(

Got all my FP+ picked! (For those wondering, I could pick them on day 61 at 9pm PST) Kind of nice to not have to worry about the opening hour ride cram. Now to just get through the next 2 months!

Getting close to the 60 day mark to pick my FP+. Being in CA, can I pick mine 61 days prior at 9:00pm?
Why not. Lol try it. - 5disneylovers  836.3 #3 9:18AM
I think so! Please let me know if it works. When I picked FP last year during the test, everything was available when I wanted it. When I picked mine for Sept at Noon Pacific, the Mine Train and Anna & Elsa were no longer available when I wanted to do them. I don't want to make that same mistake for Nov! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 9:41AM
Does anyone need recommendations on what to get and what not to get?? Obviously 7DMT and A&E - wickedale  319.3 #700 8:49PM
Getting 7dmt 2x but luckily I get to skip characters/princesses - timonT  253.4 #25 9:10PM
Make sure to sit in the back. The front is a let down on 7dmt. Get FPP for the mountains as well as Peter Pan. Also make sure to get it for TSMM. There is always a huge line! It's the same as here at DLR but the queue is pretty neat. Soarin is the exact same so you can skip it and do Test Track instead. Rope drop is pretty important in WDW if you didn't already know Where are you staying? - wickedale  319.3 #700 9:54PM
Yeah, we did rope drop last time and it was fun. I think I have all the same rides you listed on my list. Love the Fl toy story line. We're staying at Pop. I think 7dmt will be the only new part for us. Should be Ds2 first roller coaster - timonT  253.4 #25 11:06PM
I found I was able to change fast passes and book them up to a few hours before. Nearly all were available - mine train and TSM being the most difficult to get within my time frame. I did it via the website rather than my Disney experience - it seemed to work much better. There were very long queues at the FP kiosk in MK - we didn't bother trying. - rink2  67.7 #77 3:05AM

Is there anywhere to find a list of attractions that offer single rider?
Test Track, Expedition Everest and Rocking Roller Coaster are three I know of. :) - Redman  163.4 #2351 2:47PM
I am not sure of such a list. Let me know if you find one. - 5disneylovers  836.3 #3 1:26PM
I'm pretty sure tho that space, splash, and thunder all have single rider options....I've gone on many times by myself and it's never been an issue. U just tell them one person and you're good to go...that's odd that they're not listed...almost every ride there is accommodating toward ppl who want to ride by themselves....unless they changed something idk about? Lol - mickeynme  151.9 #50 11:04AM
Single Rider is different from riding solo. There are a few rides that offer single riders a special pass that puts them in a desperate (and much shorter) line so they can be used to fill in the empty seats left by larger parties. Any ride will let you ride solo, but only a few let you skip the standby line to do it. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 11:19AM
*separate* not (necessarily) desperate, LOL! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 11:20AM
Ooo okk.....I see now! Was confused by that...I'm thinking "but they let ppl go on by themselves all the time!! " lol..thank u for clearing that up for me Tiffany....so please everyone disregard my comment! Lll - mickeynme  151.9 #50 11:25AM

Our friends will be having a date night during the food & wine while we watch their kids. None of us have ever gone. What tips should I share?
It is a great time! If they have an interest in the concert series plan on the weekend, I think music is only fri sat sun. We have seen some great concerts. If that does not matter go during the week the crowds are a lot lower. Check out all of the food vendors there are some great choices, maybe not even plan on a dinner we snacked around the world. We would share that way we could try more selections. If you have a dinning plan, a lot of the selections count as a snack so you can save some snack options for this event and save some cash. Try the rum dole whip. Awesome! Have fun! - mmddgp  386.3 #17 2:36AM
Be sure to pick up a passport to get stamped at each booth. Go in with a game plan and pace yourself (there are a LOT of booths)! Finally, make a meal out of it! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 4:33AM
Is there something like a punch card they can purchase that get them a certain amount of samples and/or drinks? - timonT  253.4 #25 8:06AM
No, but they do sell small gift cards on an elastic that can be worn around your wrist. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 8:16AM
No punch card but you can purchase wine and dine gift cards and not use $ and again you can use snack options for a lot of the food if you have the dinning plan. - mmddgp  386.3 #17 8:16AM

Little upset with WDW reservations. I called specifically to ask if I needed to include my 8month old on our dining reservations and was told no. I came to find out that is bad info and our reservation is now wrong and I can't get another one for a good time. I guess I'll keep checking online and hope for a cancellation. Hard to book with a party of 8
I was the one with that issue last fall. I was really upset bacause I couldn't rebook our princess lunch and character dinner. So we went and I told them if they wouldn't let our toddler in, that I guess I would sit outside and watch him at a fast food place. They were very accommodating and in both cases, let him stay at our table in a high chair. BUT they said it was not guaranteed, it depended on if they had a table available to fit a high chair at without being in the walkway. I was not at all happy with the way they first told me not to count him snd then later told me he HAD to have a PS to get in and there were no other times available. I'm sorry to hear this is still a problem! - ally  507.5 #11 3:32PM
I remember this same issue coming up a while ago... 5DL, didn't you have this problem? What was the resolution? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  827.2 #4 8:29AM
I went to my reservation as plan. They did not turn me away because the baby was not occupying a chair. I think the whole thing is ridiculous. I was not canceling my reservation I acted dumb. " no one told me thus information" It's the first I'm hearing this. Yeap. I acted dumb - 5disneylovers  836.3 #3 4:47AM
Sorry to hear, what a pain. - jacdanfan  6373.8 #10 5:41PM
I don't understand why they would say no infants don't need to be included. All party members regardless of age should be included for dining reservations. Little humans are still people too lol. - missmimi90  1369.9 #90 10:12PM
Well the really little ones don't occupy a seat or eat the food - timonT  253.4 #25 11:17PM
They do occupy space if they are in a high chair. That's a seat but getting conflicting information would frustrate me too. - missmimi90  1369.9 #90 11:50PM

Top 3 FP+ picks for Magic Kingdom:
Haven't seen the new parade yet and we aren't ones to push and shove for a good spot or show up an hour early... Figured we'd give it a shot Fastpassing it... It's the all thing we fastpassed that's not a ride... We go in September - AB1288  14.0 #186 6:28PM
the most 3 hardest to get ride down there. Splash, Space and Seven Dwarf Mine Train (even if i still didn't try it) - otilegna  1774.0 #67 8:29PM
Does anyone know which rides have different wait times from DL? Like an attraction with a longer line in WDW than DL? (In MK) - timonT  253.4 #25 5:14PM
For me they are all the same... If you like splash mountain, better go there at Night because it will be a shorter wait, 10 minutes or less. Space Mtn will always be long, even 30mins before closing time... The wait time posted when i was there was 45mins! - otilegna  1774.0 #67 7:05PM
