The family we are traveling with, plans on bringing one umbrella stroller for their 6mth old and 4 year old. It doesn't recline and they think the 4yo can walk. I think it's a bad idea. (We're bringing our double). Any thoughts?
I think every kid is different. Maybe they know he or she can handle the walking? - missmimi90  1382.7 #90 4:58PM
My baby is 2 year old and he fell a sleep everyday of our 17 days in august. They can always buy a over price stroller in the park. Lol - 5disneylovers  857.0 #4 5:03PM
We bring our double and plan to for WDW in January. And we have Brody sit in it (5 1/2 will almost be 6) for a good majority of the time so then he doesn't get tired and cranky. And he doesn't mind it. Sometimes even asks to sit how when he's tired. Brooklyn will be almost 3 and her too. We plan to have them in the stroller and I'll carry Blake in my ergo (he'll be 1). It's so much easier for the kids to have a place to sit and relax and not have to always walk and get cranky and tired faster - brodysmommy  335.1 #626 12:55PM
Thank you for all the feedback. I didn't want to push my opinion if I was in the minority. I've always said your success of a day at Disney depends on the stroller. My son loves his stroller and it's always made our days easier. Especially when we're hurrying to something. He always took good naps in his stroller and he has a place for his own drink and snack. We usually bring lunch or at least snacks so we like the storage as well. I think I'll suggest she rent one on our busier/longer days - timonT  256.1 #26 2:09PM

Somewhat of a follow up question: If you ever requested adjoining rooms, did you get it? Wondering what my odds are
I've requested adjoining rooms or adjacent rooms at Disney resorts and never had a problem. Unless you're traveling at a peak time, I wouldn't think it would be an issue. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 12:40AM
👆 This! - mrsincredible  810.2 #5 3:59AM

Very good to know! Traveling with another family and hoping to exchange baby sitting for date nights and connecting rooms would really help putting the others kids to bed - timonT  256.1 #26 5:34PM
That's a great idea and when you open the doors there is more room to run. Good luck and have fun✨ - mmddgp  415.7 #16 5:56PM

What's the best decade building to request for Pop Century and why?
I cannot remember the decade... It mighy be 50's or 60's.... Just avoid the 90's because it is the longest walk to the Main Hall! - otilegna  1785.7 #69 9:20AM
I always request the hall closest to the Main dining facility / bus route!!! Its too hot to walk. Lol - otilegna  1785.7 #69 9:20AM
Been to Pop several times. 50's, 60's, and 70's. Noise has never been an issue. Just don't stay in a room that faces the pools. - PixieDust76  79.0 #69 10:09PM
Thanks for the input. We normally avoid the pool areas because we don't swim (we normally visit in January), but this time with two kids, we want to be nearer the kiddie pool area and dining (60s) - timonT  256.1 #26 11:11PM

What's the station you guys listen to to hear music from in the parks? Just tested DS in his sneakers and he hits 40 inches! (maybe with a little help). 47days and a whole new over 40 world is opening to DS. I'm really excited now and want to listen to some Splash and BTMRR

Since the winter holidays can get so busy, I was wondering if anyone would like to organize a Disney Halloween secret exchange? Just a small something to brighten someone's fall day?
I would LOVE to!! Except I already host the secret santa.  Whoever hosts the great pumpkin exchange, though, I'm totally playing along! - GoofyMom77  474.7 #384 9:32AM

Getting close to the 60 day mark to pick my FP+. Being in CA, can I pick mine 61 days prior at 9:00pm?
Why not. Lol try it. - 5disneylovers  857.0 #4 9:18AM
I think so! Please let me know if it works. When I picked FP last year during the test, everything was available when I wanted it. When I picked mine for Sept at Noon Pacific, the Mine Train and Anna & Elsa were no longer available when I wanted to do them. I don't want to make that same mistake for Nov! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 9:41AM
Does anyone need recommendations on what to get and what not to get?? Obviously 7DMT and A&E - wickedale  324.5 #671 8:49PM
Getting 7dmt 2x but luckily I get to skip characters/princesses - timonT  256.1 #26 9:10PM
Make sure to sit in the back. The front is a let down on 7dmt. Get FPP for the mountains as well as Peter Pan. Also make sure to get it for TSMM. There is always a huge line! It's the same as here at DLR but the queue is pretty neat. Soarin is the exact same so you can skip it and do Test Track instead. Rope drop is pretty important in WDW if you didn't already know Where are you staying? - wickedale  324.5 #671 9:54PM
Yeah, we did rope drop last time and it was fun. I think I have all the same rides you listed on my list. Love the Fl toy story line. We're staying at Pop. I think 7dmt will be the only new part for us. Should be Ds2 first roller coaster - timonT  256.1 #26 11:06PM
I found I was able to change fast passes and book them up to a few hours before. Nearly all were available - mine train and TSM being the most difficult to get within my time frame. I did it via the website rather than my Disney experience - it seemed to work much better. There were very long queues at the FP kiosk in MK - we didn't bother trying. - rink2  77.3 #74 3:05AM

Is there anywhere to find a list of attractions that offer single rider?
Test Track, Expedition Everest and Rocking Roller Coaster are three I know of. :) - Redman  163.4 #2362 2:47PM
I am not sure of such a list. Let me know if you find one. - 5disneylovers  857.0 #4 1:26PM
I'm pretty sure tho that space, splash, and thunder all have single rider options....I've gone on many times by myself and it's never been an issue. U just tell them one person and you're good to go...that's odd that they're not listed...almost every ride there is accommodating toward ppl who want to ride by themselves....unless they changed something idk about? Lol - mickeynme  152.1 #51 11:04AM
Single Rider is different from riding solo. There are a few rides that offer single riders a special pass that puts them in a desperate (and much shorter) line so they can be used to fill in the empty seats left by larger parties. Any ride will let you ride solo, but only a few let you skip the standby line to do it. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 11:19AM
*separate* not (necessarily) desperate, LOL! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 11:20AM
Ooo okk.....I see now! Was confused by that...I'm thinking "but they let ppl go on by themselves all the time!! " lol..thank u for clearing that up for me Tiffany....so please everyone disregard my comment! Lll - mickeynme  152.1 #51 11:25AM

Our friends will be having a date night during the food & wine while we watch their kids. None of us have ever gone. What tips should I share?
It is a great time! If they have an interest in the concert series plan on the weekend, I think music is only fri sat sun. We have seen some great concerts. If that does not matter go during the week the crowds are a lot lower. Check out all of the food vendors there are some great choices, maybe not even plan on a dinner we snacked around the world. We would share that way we could try more selections. If you have a dinning plan, a lot of the selections count as a snack so you can save some snack options for this event and save some cash. Try the rum dole whip. Awesome! Have fun! - mmddgp  415.7 #16 2:36AM
Be sure to pick up a passport to get stamped at each booth. Go in with a game plan and pace yourself (there are a LOT of booths)! Finally, make a meal out of it! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 4:33AM
Is there something like a punch card they can purchase that get them a certain amount of samples and/or drinks? - timonT  256.1 #26 8:06AM
No, but they do sell small gift cards on an elastic that can be worn around your wrist. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  868.1 #3 8:16AM
No punch card but you can purchase wine and dine gift cards and not use $ and again you can use snack options for a lot of the food if you have the dinning plan. - mmddgp  415.7 #16 8:16AM
