My first trip to WDW was in Jan 2001 when I was almost ten and I've only ever been one other time since then. My hubby and I are hoping to go in Jan 2013 for my third trip and his first! Oh and my first trip to DL was in June 1996 and I've been four times since then
I think that my 1st trip was in 1974. I was 7. I have been 5 times since then. We are planning our first trip to DL this year and our next WDW trip Nov/Dec 2013. - mel6785

I have 2 firsts to WDW. My very first time to WDW was for my honeymoon June 2003. I was enchanted, started my love for all things Disney. Second First was in 2008, we brought my daughter to WDW for her first time. I was even more enchanted this time seeing Disney through the eyes of my child. This started my addiction to the world and trading pins began which also lead to us becoming DVC members soon after. I use bobby pins just because I can't stand having the strap around my chin. Then I just make sure to keep my hand on my ears during any rides because I don't like having to repin it. I think they would probably stay even if I didn't hold onto them though I'm just paranoid ;)

Mine is when I was eating at the Liberty Tree Tavern with my family and I was wearing my big Goofy hat. Well Goofy himself walked up behind me and snatched it off my head and I chased him across the restaurant to find him signing it for me :) then we took an awesome picture together :) Best. Memory. Ever.
My favorite moment with a cast member was a month ago during my honeymoon. My husban and me where on Splash Mountain and where you get your picture taken we kissed. We where sitting in the back. We decided to get the picture and we had it sent to our resort. So when we ask how much it cost she said that she's giving us the picture as a gift. I am never going to forget that! It was a nice hotel, free awesome breakfast, a shuttle that took you to DL (for $8 round trip every day you used it but was cheaper than parking) plus we got it for an awesome price using getawaytoday.com. Hope this helps!
I love DL, everything is so close together so you can get where you are going fast! I love the DL hotel for all of the Disney history it has and the Grand Cali hotel is really nice. If you are looking to stay off property, you can find cheaper rooms that are close by (10 minute walk or so). You can make dinner reservations 60 days in advance by phone, but there is not too much planning that you need to do for a DL trip. Enjoy!! - Andrea84
