I have a VERY sad little Oswald tonight!!!!! He just realized he left his ears on the bus back to the parking lot. Just got off the phone with Lost and Found and I pray that they find them. When I woke him up at 5am this morn and told him we were going to Dland, the first thing he said was, "I'm going to wear my ears!" Breaks my heart 💔

And last but not least...had to stop and visit our brick!!! :)

FINALLY can fit in this awesome shirt I bought a few years ago at Dland!!! 45 lbs gone forever :)

So many of you have asked how I do the shirts I make. So I will try to explain fully here. I will also update my blog this week and post the link. I start with an image I like. Pumpkin stencils work awesome and can be found all over the Internet. I print it out on paper or directly to freezer paper which has been cut to fit in my printer. Freezer paper is an awesome discovery. You can find it in the tinfoil/plastic wrap section of any grocery store. I got mine at Walmart. Freezer paper has a dull side and a shiny side. You want to print on the dull side. After u have printed your image then you will cut it out with an xacto knife. If you are not printing directly to the freezer paper just place the image printed on regular paper on top of the freezer paper, secure with paper clips to cut. I do this on a sewing cutting board. I have cut up to 4 pieces at once but you do have to press harder to do this. After the image has been cut out you are going to iron the freezer paper stencil to the shirt shiny side down. I use an iron on the hottest/cotton setting with no steam. It does not take much to get it to stick. Make sure fine details are stuck well. If you miss place it you can peal it off and move it. After it cools, I place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to keep the paint from going all the way through the shirt to the back. I then use Tulip Soft fabric paint, squeeze some out on a paper plate and apply with a sponge brush. After it dries I peel the freezer paper off and the image is complete. I have washed out shirts I made in January now about 10 times and no problems. I get my tshirts at Michaels, Joanne's or online from Jiffyshirt.com. Cutting out the stencil is the most time consuming part, the rest takes only a few minutes. Please ask me any questions you have. I am also willing to email you the designs I have used. My next adventure will be making our shirts for our May visit to Star Wars Weekend and Flower/Garden Festival :)
