Thank you! I definitely have time, just trying to get an idea on how much I need to save so hopefully we can go in 2 yrs
I've heard David's vacation club rentals is pretty good, as for the DDP it depends , I've given points away and don't normally offer to do it because I as the DVC owner would have to give the credit card info on the phone , you can do a conference/3 way call and I have done that but personally not comfortable doing it - tracsant  913.3 #2 2:49PM
Hi and welcome! - jacdanfan  6245.2 #10 4:45PM
It can be a great way to stay at a deluxe resort for nearly half the normal cost. The dining plan is not free, so you would have to add that on. David's vacation club rental is a company that buys the points from members and rents them out to people, the price is a little higher (I think $15 per point) but they do most of the work and it's a little safer. If you have the time to do your research and create your own rental agreement, etc you can usually find $10-$12 per point, and the site I like is mouseowners.com - Andrea84  627.0 #7 8:47PM

There isn't anything babyish about disney office supplies! If I still worked I would definitely have them. Also my Doctor has them all over office and it just makes me love her even more! :)
Girl, don't even worry about what others think... life is too short for that!! I have co-workers that make joking comments about me and my love for Disney all the time. I just let them have their fun. They're just jealous!! ;) - mrsincredible  769.8 #6 7:12PM
EXACTLY! Don't worry about it mickeynme. If anyone gives you a hard time, you just let me know! I'll have a little talk with them! - BagGal  221.4 #31 7:42PM

I love them both, its disney whats not to love? But in my opinion wdw is more magical in that you feel like your in your own little world, plus its got epcot!
Enjoy your time at WDW! I think it is hard to compare DL and WDW, they are both great in their own ways and I think most people favor the one that they visit more or if they have special memories at one! - Andrea84  627.0 #7 10:31AM
I agree with you! Just have fun! If your a true Disney lover, you learn to love both wdw, and dl! - islandgirl58  251.8 #25 12:09PM
Ditto! - mrsincredible  769.8 #6 5:00PM
When you know the facts, you can't compare them for so many reasons! - dlmickeymouseCM  2404.0 #42 12:06PM
I love them both for so many reasons. If I could only go to one the rest of my life, it would be DL for sentimental memories. - ally  506.5 #11 9:16PM
To me it is a joy to have them both because they are so different. WDW has all the awesome resorts and the 4 different parks. DL is the one that Walt poured his heart and soul into and with out it there might not have been a WDW. I like them both equally for different reasons. - Disneymba  39.3 #4648 12:31PM

I stayed at the polynsian? When I was young, I don't remember much but I do remember the babysitting service the have there with captain hook and smee. I think all the deluxe offer it if your interested in some alone time with him.
That sounds like so much fun!! Im an early planner too. ๎… Have you been to WDW before? I would think Pop Century would be a great place for your family to stay! It's in the Value category for the resort, so the price is great! And also, I think it would be the most fun for your children! The theming of the hotel is super kid friendly (they have huge Mr. & Mrs. Potato Heads, Playdough cups and other Disney characters that your kids would recognize) and they have fountain play area! What kid doesnt love playing in the water?! ๎– I hope this helps. Go on the WDW website and check it out! Also! It seems that your hubby is a big NASCAR fan.. Maybe look into the Richard Petty Drivibg Experience? That would be a great birthday gift! - TangledNdisneY  322.5 #20 10:27PM
Yea I know what you mean. Last year we stayed at one of the Downtown Disney hotels, but it wasn't the same. You're very welcome! I'm so happy to help! Let me know if you have questions about anything else! - TangledNdisneY  322.5 #20 11:39PM
We've stayed at All Star Music twice. They have activities at the pool for kids all day. At night they have movies poolside that the kids voted on during the day. It is also the least expensive choice in hotels and gave us more money to spend ๎– - DznyHeart  82.0 #3595 9:55AM

I ate at old Italian restaurant it was not great I have had much better, Germany was worse, I recommend Le Celliar - Canada, or Chefs de France - lunch was great - my rule of thumb eat your biggest meal as late lunch, sustains you for the day and is cheaper than dinner and takes you out of the hot afternoon sun - Betsyboo  17.3 #163 5:43AM
