DL side has changed now... Just in the last few days... A big blow up happened and now a lot of people have left... The last couple of days have been nice if the lounge being back to Disney stuff! It's been a great change and I hope it stays that way!! No more drama!!

That why we strive to keep any negative comments and fighting out of our lounge. Since our side came online, we've only had three major incidences. And we hope to keep it that way. It is sad that the DL side has become that. I was a part of it in November 2009 and remember when it was like ours is now. - IndyandMarion

I browse WDW occasionally and it's true, a lot less drama here. But I'm shocked that some of you state there is no drama or negativity in here...yet this post is both! MW DL side has a very large group of people and has to be dealt with differently. The occasional "googled" pic here doesn't stop the live photos, but when you have 5-10 a day, the live shots are buried. Yes, some can be considered rude, but in the vast majority of cases, folks are giving advice and the person seeing it misinterprets good advice for rudeness. When someone is consistently negative or consistently posts non-Disney photos, the warnings do get stronger. We also get a lot more trolls...but in the past, Admin used MWers to watch for them, unbeknownst to many of the regular users. Those people that left were a huge part of the success of MW, and it will become more noticeable as time goes on. There are still very active people on MW that have given bad reviews because they were angry with Admin. There's a lot that isn't known about what goes on behind the scenes. And a lot that isn't known about what recently happened. The best thing you can do is to not disrespect when you don't know the full story. - Gia

Not to my knowledge. I took my son when he was 9 months old and I either was carrying him or had him in the baby bjorn. I was never turned away. I felt more safe with him in the baby bjorn but could carry him also. So it's up to you how you want to carry him but you can take them on any ride with no height requirement.
You will have to go parent swap because baby cannot get on rides. Tell the CM you want to do parent swap. The Disney CM will then instruct you to enter the queue. Once you're at the boarding area, let the Cast Member know that you want to "child swap." They'll show you where to wait while the rest of your party enjoys the ride. Once they get back, you hand the baby over to your hubby and you get your turn without having to get back on the line. - 5disneylovers

I've been twice and both times used the Disney website. Before the 2nd trip we went to AAA to get those prices and even with more people it was cheaper to go through the Disney website and book out own airfare through southwest. If you have time just shop around and see
I had a friend book theirs through an agent, their whole trip including tickets, stay at all star music, dining plan and air from kc was $3000. And that is for this April, I thought that wad pretty good. Oh there are 2 adults and 1 kid. - ccmom

Thank you all for the tips! We are wanting to stay at AoA when we go but I looked at the map and the standard rooms seem so far from everything and my sister in law wanted a suite for them and I don't think they have suited and standard rooms in same building. i go to disney every other year. I notice it is cheaper to book your flight through either the airline directly or priceline negotiator if you dont mind varied flight times. them i book the hotel room through disney since i like to stay on the property and either use AAA or other discounts for the room and can save upwards of 40% per night. i dont do the disney dining package since i dont like it. I think its better to have food delivered from wegoshops or gardengrocer and have special dinners since u save a lot on drinks and lunch that way. lastly on tickets i like to use my friends military tickets since they are very economical and he can give me up to 8 a year. a good example of cost is in 2011 i went for 9 days ti disney world for 1200 to include flight, hotel, 4 day fun and more tickets for 2 people. food was another 300. have a great time planning your trip as it can be so much fun - athica

I have an almost 4 year old and he loves cars land and toontown! So I would say do Disneyland while they are young to enjoy the 'young' things they may not care about later on and Epcot when they are older.

We just got bk from Disneyland. Cars land is amazing. U really felt like u were in the movie.I feel the same way about epcot..I still have not spent the time there like I want but I now my daughter will b older nx trip she will want to stay at that park longer - disneygirl74

My poor Brody has had the croup 3 times. He never had the steroids but his symptoms only lasted 2-3 days each time. After that he would just have cold like stuff, no horse raspy voice or cough. But I have a friend who does breathing treatments with her daughters each time they get it and I think the steroids too. Hope she feels better fast!

Yes a shirt time is better and I wish I could have my grama here to go again.. She used to do DL when I was really little but then stopped so I have no memories but luckily pics with her there with us. But wish she could have gone again when I was old enough to remember

So sorry to hear. I've been on the DL side and I've seen a lot of things happen over there that I don't like. So that's why I venture to this sure since everyone can be nicer over here. The only thing I can say is to block them and move on and try to not let them ruin your Disney love. That's what I have done. But take care and hope to see you in the future :)

Oh wow. Hope you feel better soon! I had food poisoning when I was prego last year. It was a type no one even heard of. I was on meds for 10 days and Lu July no harm to Brooklyn. Praying for a speedy recovery!
