Use the 'magic hours' if staying at a resort hotel. The parks are less crowded during then so you can enjoy more. Go on the rides that DL doesn't have. Soarin is the exact same ride so just pass unless you really want to... In a frequent DL person also but have been to WDW twice. In Epcot check out all the countries and a couple of them have cute little rides in them. We missed one of them the first trip but made it the 2nd time around. Nap if you need to in the afternoon and make sure to stay late at whatever park has 'magic hours'. That's what I would suggest :)
We weren't impressed with that ride :(
We are hoping to go then too! We've heard it's slow season so that's why we want to go!!
I got 2 today and I hadn't even posted anything yet!
Have fun and happy anniversary!!
Brooklyn got it when she was almost 10 months old... And right before our trip to Disneyland! It scared is too because she had a cold right before also. She doesn't go to day care either and Brody never had anything like it. Once we saw the rash we were so relieved! Good luck and she'll get better fast now :)
Why does it look like no guard rails! Looks like you can walk right into the water
Busy weekend for me! Early tomorrow going to a baby consignment sale with a friend who is prego with her first, then a BBQ in the afternoon. Sunday is lunch at my brothers for my nieces bday and then a soccer game!
I agree!! I also thought WDW's was a little more scary than DL's. but I do like the arena seating at WDW though. It's nice to be able to find a seat and not have to fight traffic of people getting there.
I'd say the younger the better. We took our son to WDW at 9 months and it was easy but hard cuz he was/is a very active kid so wanted to get down and crawl everywhere! So holding him in the baby bjorn or the stroller helped a lot! And if they get crabby just keep moving! Everyone has kids so if they cry or scream apologize but most people have been there so they won't mind. 5 months should be pretty easy. Ride the train a few times during nap time if need to or go on easy rides like pirates or haunted. That's what I would suggest.
Looks and sounds like a great day!! Glad you had fun!
Wow, in surprised there are no 'single' riders with you! Must be a slow day! Have tons of fun!!
Yeah Cleveland!! I have family there and we try to visit once a year or every 2 years! We got to go to an Indians game a few years ago and it was so fun!
Have fun!! 21 days for me to be back!!
Super jealous you got I to go to company D!! Have a great day!
Thank you for all the feedback! Yeah pool wise I can't see any of us really using it, unless there is a spa. We normally don't spend much time in the rooms but now with the kids we go back for 'nap' time and the adults tend to join to have a few drinks. So they weren't too impressed or wanting to hang at the value resort bar so was hoping for a step up so that's why I figured I'd ask! :)
Yeah I don't remember getting them that far in advance. I think it was maybe 2-4 weeks before. Just enough time to not lose them!
