Hello my fellow mouse waiters I'm trying to plan a trip to Walt Disney world in nov 2014 and I need your help in finding a resort hotel that is nice but not super expensive and I will be there with my wife and 9 year old daughter during the trip she will be turning 10 so any help would be amazing
Welcome! Will this be your first trip to WDW? For value resorts I recommend Pop Century or Art of Animation. If you want to upgrade to a moderate resort, my favorite is Port Orleans French Quarter! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1479.6 #6 8:23PM
Just from my planning...exactly what you said. :) - singleprincess  71.8 #4411 8:25PM
I've only stayed at one of the value hotels that was Art of Animation in the little mermaid rms , it's a very nice resort and at a pretty good price , lots to see there and some fantastic theming , feel free to ask any questions - tracsant  1599.6 #4 8:21PM
Lo I am the opposite of lelundrial! I loved the Caribbean beach resort. I thought it was beautiful. We stayed in a pirate theme room and I'd have liked the regular theme better. The regular themes are also closet to the food court. But last month was the first time we stayed in AoA also and I was impressed. It's alot better than pop or allstar imho. If you don't mind the little extra walking these resorts are fine. They're farther from mk but easy to get to all the rest. I also stayed in port orleans riverside. It was nice and pretty. I think it can be compared to a larger version on the grand Floridian and Caribbean like the polynesian. The alligator bayou in POR is supposed to be more rustic though. The important parts are picking a room close to the food court but not more money (unless u want to) and close to the bus. For Por my mom chose our exact room number even. - Polynesiangirl  98.4 #74 9:41AM

What is the best Disney hotel for the dollar at wdw. This will be my first and more then likely my only trip to florida?
I would book a moderate resort (Coronado or Fort Wilderness) and make sure you get the dining plan with table and quick service meals! You will save tons of money! Anything you need help with we are all very happy to guide you here at MWFL*+.*+.*+. - CinderellaPrincess85  194.6 #48 8:40PM
If you want a cheaper resort but just as fun. Look into a value my fav is pop century! But I agree about the dp. - Schramke  746.0 #13 8:50PM
I think the moderates are very nice for the money. - ally  509.0 #19 8:59PM
Ok you have given me alot to think about . I know at Disneyland I stayed at the grand Californian and loved it . But with airfair and everything I don't think I can stay at the high end there. But thanks for info - cowboygoofy  219.7 #1899 9:03PM
