Why am I just seeing a blow up of your avatar?
It was great! Crowded, and hard to find your pace at first with all the people around, but it was really fun. Next trip is in May for the Expedition Everest challenge, so this was a good introduction into how they do their races. You can definitely tell its Disney!
I got mine at the Polynesian at the stand outside of Ohanas.
I admit when they first came to my hubby about relocating to SC, one of my first thoughts was "how close is that to WDW?" a 7 hour drive is well worth it!
Where are you moving to? Are you coming for Boeing?
Oh! I nearly knocked myself out on that things nose once. Tell Maddie to give him a kick for me.
I enjoy planning dining and special surprises for my hubby and daughter. When we are there in May, I'm trying to get hubby into the exotic car experience. If I manage that, I'll be wife of the year for sure. Things like that make it so much fun.
Okay my phone freaked out and I was unable to reply!! So I'm digging up my old post to say; we named him Chevy Lowrider because my hubby is a huge car guy and this little guy is definitely a lowrider with his short little legs, he is an Australian cattle dog/blue heeler, my husband and I both work for Boeing on the 787 program, this is my 4th program, and of all the planes I've worked on, this is the most exciting!!! And thank you for all warm welcomes on behalf of Chevy! We are going to get him some Camaro gear at Test track when we are there, he'll be sure to model it for you all!
We drive from Charleston SC to WDW all the time! We also drove cross country when we moved from Wa state to SC. I generally drive the 7 hours to WDW without stopping, but we bring lots of good snacks, lots of water, and good driving music and the time flies!
Im nervous though, this will be my first ever 5k. I told hubby he has permission to drag me across the finish line if need be! At least I'll be running at WDW, so much better than the treadmill.
I found our horse/house sitter by asking our vet for recommendations.
I like Disunplugged, but only because I've never heard any others.
We got one of those too! I think Hubs tossed it though, he tosses all the cute stuff they send us, including a DVC welcome home lithograph they sent us a few years ago.
He's weird. He collects vinylmations and the little bags of figures, but anything that doesn't come ready to display gets trashed if I'm not watching closely. Had it come framed with a diagram of where to put in the house, he would have loved it.
Add me to this one also! Thank you!
To get the free meals you have to buy tickets, correct? I was trying to see if it would be cost effective to pay for the room and get the dining plan free, but since we have AP's I don't think it would. So instead of paying $500 for dining and nothing for the room (DVC), pay $400 for the room and save $100 on the meals. Prices are for demonstration purposes only, I'm not sure how much the rooms are. But if you add the cost of tickets... Well then it wouldn't work. Did that make any sense at all? I'm so sleepy, I barely understand myself!
